My name is Lewis Woodard Jr., and I am related to this person because her sister Neoma Milam Turner is my great grandmother. Are you related to her, and do you have any information on her children?

I FINALLY was able to confirm that the memorial previously listed as "George B Turner" is actually associated with the grave of our ancestor, Green Berry Huckleby Turner! Look at the new photo added by a nice gentlemen in KY.

Hi there! Please look at her memorial and let me know if you have any info to add.

Also, I saw a message where you stated your grandmother had told you some about our Gpa G.B.H.Turner. I would love to hear.

Do you have any document that says he died in Louisville or was it just from the internet? Were his parents Ephraim and Sarah?

Did Green serve in the Georgia Militia? If so, he is buried in the cemetery in Millegville (spelling?) cemetery. That Green B Turner died in Brown Hospital in 1864.

When i get to a computer, will email to you some links to direct databases and one partial Cave Hill Confederate list, which is on Rootsweb. I don't remember ever seeing a list of the 40+ who are in CH National.

If you do a search for Turner in Cave Hill National, you'll see George right above Green Turner. If you click on any of the pictures, you'll get a blow-up of the photo.

Looking at the photos for George B H Turner, I see that the marker doesn't read George, but rather G. The george could just be in error.
