|I've been working on my family history for nearly 40 years now, WOW! In addition to working my ancestral family names, I like to work the descendants of my ancestral couple starting with the couple that came to Wisconsin. |
These family names have taken me all across the United States. I've been very fortunate to have been able to visit and photograph many of the descendant family stones. My goal is to get all of these family graves and their grave photos uploaded.
If you find a name that is in your family, drop me a line! I'm very interested in connecting with "cousins".

Yes, no response, so I wonder is he is no longer around? I emailed a couple of years ago and about three months ago when I was working on Johanna and found the initial error on her. This whole thing with Johanna Kusbob has wrecked havoc on Ancestry to the point of having to contact them to correct all the trees using the find a grave info. Ancestry was going to try and get it fixed a couple of months ago through them.

Memorial for William Bartz Dec 1835 - 1903. Incorrect photo was added. He is in St. Johns Lutheran Cemetery at Hayes, Wisconsin. Not Oconto Catholic. In addition, I believe some one has him related to a Johanna Kausbaum, this is also incorrect. Thank You.

Huh, interesting. I wonder why the difference. Not the first time I have come across that, though it's always strange to me. Hopefully you can find a record that will set things straight :)

I do not understand send this on edit of the memorial and explain what you want me to do.

Unfortunately, I had to decline your edit. I don't do hyphenated last names on memorials unless the headstone is hyphenated.
Here is the Find A Grave FAQ that I use as my guide: Memorial Naming Conventions: Last Name as you would find it on the tombstone, if the interred had more than one marriage or other possible spellings please place this information in the bio and use the family links. Do not include honorary or other suffixes in the Last Name field.
Have a great weekend.

S.Perry, she is my husband's great aunt. She was quite a lady and full of fun. She always went by Mae, even as a child. No one in the family called her Anna. In the notes on her memorial I have listed her birth name. Around Dodgeville area she was known by Mae and nothing else. Many do not know her birth name. So I am going to leave it as is Cindy.
Hi There~East Side Cemetery has this Memorial listed as Marrin Bell. If you are positive his name is Marvin I will gladly change it, but if there is any question we can request a picture of the gravestone to know for sure. Let me know, Thanks
