Happy Hunting.

I lost my great grandparents, my grandparents, my parents and my photos, my children, my spouses and all the other genealogical materials I had in a fire in 2006... Had all that stuff stored in a very expensive safe, but the safe didn't survive the infernal of over 3,000 degrees in one of those arson fires... I am grateful for what I had uploaded to ancestry and wish that the other 3,000 items had been I am very grateful for other's that share... Thanks so very much....

Update: 12/18/2012
For the state of Oklahoma, they have another website with headstone photos.
Click on the county, then the cemetery and you can find all the headstone photos that are posted. Enjoy.

I am searching for all lines that link, no matter how distant the person or place... Thanks for any help along the way..

I don't need to own all my family memorials, but I do want to find my family.... I have over 100,000 family members, so all you volunteers and memorial providers, thanks in advance.... I only wish that if you are going to have a family member of mine, that you try to keep it updated...if I send you info... Thanks again for all the hard work you volunteers do for the rest of us...

I only take photos in the spring and early fall... but I know there are a ton of volunteers out here, so your requests will get done..

Thanks again....
If you need a transfer, just ask...

Here is a deal I will make for you... I love sharing and will share just about anything (husband says too much sharing) but I do love sharing. Enjoy anything you find and you can copy it and I need no credit.

I find missing loved ones all the time that I never got a chance to meet... I am so grateful for family and strangers that I have met that are willing to share their information. What a joy. Thank you from the bottom of my heart...

Any Memorial transferred to me from my cousin Cynthia Osborn will not be transferred as I manage all her memorials for her....Thank you.

Wilhelmina Roeske
Hi Gloria! - You asked in your message to me to send a photo - I did not contribute the photo for Wilhelmina Roeske! If that is the memorial you are inquiring about, you will need to contact the contributor of the photo. If it is not Wilhelmina, let me know if it is a memorial I uploaded a photo to! Regards, Brian

RE: Ida E Rasmussen
Hi Gloria.

I think she was buried in her family's plot (the Rasmussens). Perhaps because in Denmark a woman at that time a woman's maiden name was often referenced, her stone reads Rasmussen rather than Whitmore? (I don't know given that no image is posted.). Her death record states the correct date and "Ida E Whitmore."

Here's a bio:

Ida E Rasmussen was born in April 1886 in South Dakota. Her parents were Danish immigrants, Robert Rasmussen and Christina Mary "Stena" (Anderson) Rasmussen. She had one son and one daughter with Charles H. Whitmore: Clarence Leonard Whitmore and Ida Loretta Whitmore. She died as a young mother on December 5, 1906, in Irene, South Dakota, at the age of 20, and was buried in Clay, South Dakota.

RE: Warren Hale and family
HI Gloria,
You are very welcome! The Hale Family monument is impressive and in very good condition. On the third and fourth sides of the monument are other family members who do not have memorial sites.
Delia Ann, daughter of Warren and Rhona and John Lindsey, and Mary Lindsey, wife of Warren Hale. Would you like these photos as well? Pat

RE: Ezra and Julia Stone
You are very welcome! I am going to try to add as many photos as possible from the old part of Elm Vale Cemetery this summer.

If you have any other photo requests that you would like me to look for in Western Maine, just let me know, I'd be glad to go hunt for them.
