Hello,
You requested a grave photo at Memorial Park Cemetery in Memphis. This cemetery is quite large and without a plot location it is near impossible to just stumble upon a requested grave. I am happy to try to fulfill your request though if you will contact the office and ask for the plot location.Just let me know, or post the plot on the memorial and I will try to fulfill it in the near future The office can be reached at (901) 767-8930

The Hellums
Dear Gail,
I wanted to give you some more info about Chester's family.
Amyl Butler and Clifton Hellums were Chester's parents.
Amyl Butler was born March 22, 1885 in Grapevine, Arkansas. Amyl went by the nickname Sam. She married Clifton Augustus Hellums who was born January 6, 1886 in Star City, Arkansas. The couple wed November 1909 in Pine Bluff Arkansas. They moved to Los Angeles, California and had two children, Anna and Chester.
In 1920 they were living in Los Angeles on 55th Street. Clifton was a bookkeeper in a shoe store. Amyl's sister Bera and her family were living with them.
Clifton passed away July 4, 1976; Amyl passed away January 4, 1990 in Willits, Ca. The couple are buried at Little
Lake Cemetery in Willits, Mendocino, California

Minton Grave Sites
Gail, thank you so much for taking the pictures of my Aunt Edna and Uncle Frank Minton's grave markers. I live in the Sacramento area and I came up that way last year in May and I could not find them. Then on my way home I remembered that my Uncle had a crystal mine and made all of his brothers and sisters etc headstone markers. Thanks for your effort.
