May I use some on your pictures on my Family Tree Maker? Thank you for your help.
|Bill Utermohlen||Elizabeth Thomas Cox|
On findagrave, you can add links to spouses and parents, but not children. Accordingly, I can't use Elizabeth's memorial page to link to Sarah Cox Johnstone, as Sarah is a child of Elizabeth. Rather, you will need to get the person with Sarah's memorial to link to her parents. Did you notice that there are two memorials for Joseph Rue Cox, one in Illinois (where I assume he is buried) and one in Iowa, where his wife is buried?

I am sorry not to get back to you before now but this summer and fall have been very busy. I remember my grandmother's sister Alma Chandler Winne VERY well. I also remember Ruth, Flossy, Alberta, Leola and Velma who were my father's first cousins. I attended Alma's 90th birthday party with my parents and visited Alberta and Don Burchard in their home in Prescot, AZ. I live in California and hope to get back to the Corbin genealogy after the holidays. I would love to work with you on the family lines.

I'm sorry it's taken me so long to respond! It's been a busy time!
You had asked about my relation to Samuel Brigham. It appears that he was my 7th great grandfather. I am descended from him through his son Jedidiah Brigham, and Jedidiah's son Winslow. Winslow's daughter Elizabeth (Brigham) Barnes was my 4th great grandmother, and her daughter Charlott Barnes (Johnson) was my great-great-great grandmother. Her son Franklin Johnson was my great great grandfather, and his daughter, Olive (Johnson) Rardin was my great grandmother.

No problem! I'm glad I could help and the weather wasn't too sweltering.
I also posted photographs for Cora (Hancock) Keelin and Else (Hancock) McCutchan, both daughters of Edwin and Marie (Fiset) Hancock, and a photo for John Hancock (b. 1878).
Let me know if you need anything else!

Be glad to help. I am a descendant through Samuel and Elizabeth (Howe)'s daughter Lydia.

I'd be willing to assist you; however, I'm on a trip cross country right now, and most of my genealogy info is at home. I do have my computer with me and access to the genealogy websites I belong to. I'll do anything I can. N.Norris

Hello, Ms. Pula,
I would be happy to help you the best I can with your Brigham research. You should know, however, that I only recently (as in the last few weeks) discovered my connection to the Brighams, so I'm not sure how much help I'll be, but I can certainly try!

I checked out Hudson Cemetery this morning and I was unable to locate him. There were a lot of stones that were illegible. There is one stone to the left of a lilac shrub that I thought might be Eli. If I get a chance, I will try to get some chalk and rub the surface to see if it makes it any easier to read. Hopefully I can find something. I drive by the cemetery at least twice a week on my way to work.

Isn't the memorial at the link below not the correct one for Richard Cox?
Please let me know, and I will fix if it is not.
