RE: Ira Sickles
You are welcome. I am doing a lot at the locale cemetery. We are going through a crises here. The sexton her was stilling from the cemetery and got caught. She has stolen $6000 lawn mower, head stones, flower vases. Thee person the first posted just done it for credits and numbers on post. She done most from files. I am going through the cemetery on grave at a time and taken a picture. As soon as the pictures all are done I will run each head stone through Washington state archives and get as much information as I can to post. That will take a while. We have know one taken care of the cemetery at this time I do what can when the weather is fine. I have been digging out curbs and what not that she covered up with gravel when she plowed it. Soon I will be doing the headage's. I am glad I was able to help you out a little with this information. Oh she has been band from the cemetery for 25 years from the state of Washington.

Thank you!
Thank you for your lovely message. Also, since I was 15 years old I have left a flower or flowers for the service men and women every week. It's just my way of saying thank you. I also want it to be a reminder to others who see the flowers where the memorial and flags are to hopefully take notice and take a moment to say thank you in their hearts. So many have given their lives so we can live as we do and it breaks my heart when I hear others taking their own lives and the lives of those they love for granted. Many of these service men and women maybe never fell in love, never married, never had children, never bought their first home or left loved ones behind. I don't think there is any sacrifice greater. I left a beautiful rose yesterday after work before I went home. I will try to post a picture on my page. :) Blessings!

RE: Picture of Head Stone
The cemetery is just down the road from me so other than the time it took to locate the headstone itself it was no problem at all. That's a part of what the web site should be all about, people involved in family research helping people involved in family research.
