Warren, as I have stated, my family has researched the McBees for 4 generations. It has been published, verified, and is a great source of information. My GGrandfather traveled to Honey Grove in the 1940's and meet with some of your family members, who provided him with information from Ira W. McBees Family Bible, along with photos. Our lines connect via SILAS MCBEE & his wife CATHERINE CATES. Your line as you have stated is via VARDRY MCBEE b. 1796 and ALICE COLE BENNETT. My lines is via his brother SILAS MCBEE b. 1800 and his wife Patsey Mayes. Their son Vardry McBee and your ancestor Ira W. MCBEE were 1st Cousins....The photo I have posted is one of the photos received from your relatives in the Honey Grove, TX area.

RE: Ira William McBee--Memorial 111249120
Hello,
Regarding the photo of IRA W. MCBEE, I do not have much information. Upon the death of my Great Uncle I was invited to go to his home and go through some of the boxes of family photos that my Great Uncle and Great Grandfather had from decades of genealogical research on the McBees. I came across this photo that stood out to me because of the wonderful content. I only know it is of Ira W. MCBEE of Honey Grove, TX. Ira was a first cousin I believe to my ancestor Vardra or Vardry MCBEE b. 1823 Arkansas, but lived most of his life in Texas.

I have the photo framed and it is proudly framed in home.

information
Hello Warren,
I think I "know" you...
An information about your father.
After Liberation of Alenšon, your father's body was buried in the military temporary cemetery of St Corneille, at 10 miles east of Le Mans. It is after he was buried. But why in Belgium?
have a good day.

Jacky
