RE: Becky
1902 Groundhog day was Feb 2nd.
Not sure that I could go back and find the unknown Chappell of 1902.

Do your records show what became of Louis and Hulda after 1920, or where they were buried?

Michigan birth records...

Search just the last name for unnamed baby in 1902. Mother's name - Ciccord.

Also try Chapell variation.

About the Gladys Mae listing in Canadian records as native of Sarnia, Ontario, but this must be a coincidence in names.

RE: Robert Paul Adams
I was in the Navy just in time for Vietnam.
Military records on Ancestry about as complete as can be for people who were born before 1925.

The National Veterans Grave Locator government site is helpful if the burial was in a US veterans cemetery, anywhere in World.

Records for Spanish-American War and WWI are very iffy; guys may have registered for the Draft, but often no confirmation that they actually served. Here, family traditions are often only clue.

RE: Gladys
Found your Grandmother thru Wallis Family Tree on Ancestry, and wrote tentative memorial for Robert.
Both are linked now on Becky's page.

RE: 1918 Marriage of Gladys
Ancestry shows the document for 1918 marriage, I think.

Your previous reply regards Gladys of Onaway MI seems to be cancelled by Elene's tradition of events??

RE: Becky

A "Gladys Mae Chappelle" married Robert B. Irwin, Pierce Co. WA, 1918.

Gladys M. Irwin married Robert Paul Adams, Clark Co. 1924.

If I am reading the records on Ancestry correctly.

Gladys originally from Sarnia, Ontario, Canada?

Looking, looking. Begin to think the family name may have been McAdams in British Columbia. Found the Clark county marriage in 1924 to Gladys Mae Irvin...
