John H. Houk
Hi Scott, I thought you might be related to John Houk and would be interested in seeing the photo I just added to his memorial. It is of a younger John with his five brothers.

RE: Arthur and James Tolmie Pictures
Thank you so much Scott. I think you posting those pictures is an awesome thing and consistent with what I know of my family history. Thank you so much for posting the pictures and for replying to my email.

Arthur and James Tolmie Pictures
A few years ago you posted pictures of two of my relatives Arthur and James Tolmie (My great grandfather and great great grandfather respectively). Memorial# 69017612 & Memorial# 69017614. I would love to know how you came about these pictures as I am researching my family ancestry. Any insight would be great!!

Hi Scott. You posted a picture of William Laughlen on his grave site. Are we related? Do you have more?

John & Mary Ann (Ellsworth) Carncross
This couple, memorials #46407194 & #46407233 are my wife's gg-grandparents through their daughter Charlotte Adelia Carncross who married James Maurice Hadden. I'm wondering whether you have any information at all regarding the native families of either John or Mary Ann?

John J. Argenz
Mr. Argenz was my step grandfather. I have many of his personal pictures and documents (songbooks for piano, letters written from 1880's in Italy from his mother, citizenship papers, essays, wills) would like to find a living relative to give them to.

Re: Your photo of Martin V. Bogart #68891466
Good Evening Scott,

I am wondering if you can recall where you obtained your photo of Martin V. Bogart, son of Martin & Sarah (Egbert) Bogart.

If by chance you are related, I was wondering if you might have a photo of his sister, Mary (Bogart) Hoy.

Thank you for your time,

Kathy (Hoy) Eltiste

Harry Hartman #68763356
Would you be able to tell me where the photo of Harry Hartman that you uploaded came from? I'm looking for descendents, but do not believe he had any children. Thought I would check to see if you had more info. Thank you!

William a miller
Hello! I'm trying to confirm that the photo of the gravestone and the portrait are the same William A. Miller who was married to Caroline "Callie" Decker. William and Callie had 2 sons: Luther and Lawrence (my gg grandfather). If this is the same William married to Callie, can you confirm? Thanks!

RE: Caleb Chase
Thank you! I have heard of the Boats and Boating book and had seen the scan of it on Google Books, although the photos are missing there, which is why I'd never seen that picture. I'll have to track down an actual copy of it. Yes, my mother's family has deep Adirondack roots - lots of boat builders, guides, and interesting people to research!
