Bio Photo Hello - We got the Genealogy BUG in 1977 - been at IT ever since. Just found Findagrave (2009)- LOVE it. Has given me answers as well as created questions. Bill was working on Southern Varner's & all their connections from PA & NC. He passed away November 2015. Bobbye with some cousins has been working on all 13 children of Jacob Shadrach Champion, who died in 1832 in SC. As well as Robert Taliaferro & Thomas Boulware lines of VA. Thanks to all the Findagrave people who have helped us and drop a line if we can help you.

May 2016 - Received some edits earlier and some how they were removed. If I didn't get to your edit would you please send it again? Thanks, Bobbye

RE: 'Galloway's
Hello, Bobbye, it has been awhile, hasn't it?
Yes, I believe this is the right Lindsey Galloway. The family was in Stephens County on the 1920 census.
I have made the appropriate links. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. -Bobbie

Christopher Shackleford
Bobbye.
Thanks for the info. Christopher Shackileford is my 2nd great grandmother's brother. It is so very hard to get any info on him since he left Virginia for Texas. The rest of his siblings, including my 2nd great-grandmother, lived and died in Virginia, as do I. Virginia vital statistics began in 1853 to 1896; then a vital statistic void; then the records began again in 1912 to present. Therefore, I have no death records for his siblings. If you can find any documentation on him, I would surely appreciate it.
Thanks,
Jane Williams

Christopher Shackleford
Do you have any idea how I can acquire a death certificate for Christopher Shackleford who was born in Virginia and died 1887 in Texas.

Thanks,
Jane Williams

Regarding Sarah Edwards Taylor Cutler's find a grave info. I am her great-great granddaughter.
Her first husband was my great grandfather:
Thomas Powell Taylor
Her children were: Dr. John Moses Taylor and Thomas Powell Taylor, Jr.

She is buried at Jackson Cemetery on Hwy. 7E in Joaquin, Tx. Thought you might like to add this information.
She was first generation Texan, moving to Shelby County, Texas from Cumberland County, North Carolina.
Her second husband was Samuel Cuttler
Thank you, Joyce L. Richards

RE: G. (Geneva) L. Coplen
Hi Bobbie,
Sorry for such a late reply. I have looked through my photos for Garland Cemetery & don't know how/where the name Geneva came from. When I create a memorial, I add it exactly as I have it in my photo. I think maybe it was a suggested edit from someone? Anyway, I changed it back to reflect what it shows in the picture that I took. Sorry but I don't have anymore info on them.
Dana

RE: Ella Yell
Thanks for the effort. Not everyone is that conscientious. I heard Find a Grave is working on a redo on their program that should be in effect in about a year. That might fix problems like this.
