Bio and Links
Bio Photo My interest in cemeteries began when I started researching former owners of my 150 year old Victorian house. My house TREE includes: JACKSON, LUCKEY, & BOWMAN. I love connecting the past with the present. There is something very grounding about it. My other research interests include: ELLIS, HOADLEY, NEEDHAM, FERREE, HORST & REEHL.
I believe that FAG provides a great forum to document our ancestors lives and final resting places. I do not believe that it is meant for some to COLLECT & HOARD memorials, simply because they have created the memorial. Memorials are meant to be maintained by family members or people who care. I do not believe that it is appropriate to add gushy notes to memorials about distant relatives 5X removed. I do not believe that flashing notes are appropriate to add to any memorial. They are distracting and disrespectful. Since FAG is not a religious site, I do not find that religous icons (flashing GIFS) are appropriate either.

Right you are. No idea where I got 1810 from. I couldn't read her age on the stone in the photo but I found the transcription at the CCGS site, said she was 80y and 16d.
Thanks for the heads up.

Hi Renee,

Thanks for the heads-up so I could correct Jesse's memorial.

Jesse is related to me, but distantly. I would be happy to transfer him and his family to you if you are interested. Let me know.

I really can't answer that question for you. I did not put up this entry. It was transferred to me by some one else. But I am a Strouse descendent.

Julia McClave

This lady is not directly in our family line and since you have a vested interest I have transferred the memorial to you. Good Luck!

RE: McClaves
Hello Renee also in the McClave's family plot is a grave stone that reads with the name Jonson on top and then under neath reads Arthur M 1914 to 1981 and Jacqueline McClave 1921 to 1981 I'm thinking she was married to Arthur and Jonson is her married name
