Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have embarked on an incredible journey to locate my ancestors, as well as the ancestors of my husband and has proven to be a very rewarding task. I would like to thank my Mother for "planting the seed" that keeps me searching...I hope I can do her justice.

RE: Coleman family
Bev, I've done most of the my family research on the Brown side. My maiden name is Brown. I belong to and found my links to the Coleman family that way. I live near Quincy, IL. My husband and I went to Bond and Madison county this past Dec and did some research on the Browns. I'm sorry, but I don't have any info to add to the Coleman family. Thanks for all your help and how we are related, I too love the family connecton. We will be in the Bond County area again in April, maybe someday we'll meet. Where do you live? My 2nd great grandfather William Hubbard Brown who was married to Martha Gordon Coleman, had a sister named Sarah Ann Brown. Sarah was first married to John Hooser in 1853, then she married William N Coleman in 1857. He was Martha Gordon Colemans' brother.

Hello B. , I just added links to WD's parents. He was my great grandfather's 1st cousin. I can provide some supporting evidence for the parents if needed. Thanks - Dan

Great to find another relative. From which child of Elizabeth do you descend?

Yes, Margaret Cutsinger McCarty is in my direct line also. How do you descend from her? I descend from her daughter, Nancy.
