|Tammy Robertson||RE: Childersburg Cemetery|
You're welcome. I am glad I found it. The cemetery was bigger than I was expecting. I found a few other Giddens and I will be checking to see if they are listed and have photos. If not I will add them. I am searching Matson in that community. I also was able to get a few good photos of a covered bridge and grist mill (in the rain) about a mile from the cemetery. The mill was built in the 1860's. If you think your family might have lived near by or worked at the mill and would like a few photos I will be happy to send them to you.

I wanted you to know that I visited the Childersburg Cemetery today and found the grave for Mary Giddens. I took a photo of her stone and there was not a marker next to her that looked like her husband. Her marker is flat and reads "Mary E Giddens (Molly)June 8 1872 Dec 27 1941. There is a Giddens stone next to that one for "Roxie A. Giddens Mar 8 1854 Jan 13 1920" and on same stone "Whit. W Giddens July 28 1843 Nov 23 1919" I took a close up photo of the markers and one with both in the picture so you could see the proximity. If you would like copies of the images I will be happy to send them to you. You can find a link to send me a personal message on my page. I will be adding the photos to the memorials in the next day or so. I have to reduce the file size so it takes a little time to have them ready to upload.

Thank you for your email. I used to take a several photos for requests but have kind of quit as people do not thank you for taking the photos a lot of times.
Sandy Hicks Mullins has this memorial and I know she would be glad to transfer it to you if you would like to have it. She is really good about doing that.

I will be posting the photos (5) this evening. I have a map I can send you showing the location of the plot. All are together in the one plot. If you could email me at email@example.com I will send you the map by return email.

About to upload photos of the marker for Hardy Jones. His wife Sarah did not lie beside him, and we did not find her elsewhere in the cemetery. Perhaps since she died earlier she is buried somewhere else?
