Since the passing of my mother "Betty Jo Snyder/ Brothers" I began the search for her mother's family. My grandmother's name is "Viola Josephine Maxwell/Snyder" married to "Robert Lee Snyder." They had 11 children and she died at a young age and they are both buried in the Mitchell Cemetery outside of Cisco, Tx.

My mother did not know much about her mother's family because she was about 8 years old when her mother died.

My family research involves these names. Snider/Snyder, Maxwell, and Alvey.

I will continue until I can't.

RE: Sabra Drake
I have a Richard Sparks Drake b. 11 Sep 1825, in AL The Caudle/Welborn Family shows he marred Lenora Caroline Wharton in 1836, in Noxubee, MS My records show the marriage was on 28 Feb 1850, same location. The Caudle/Welborn Family [MarkStokes] shows a Sabra J. Drake b. 1846 ARK d. 1873. Currently I do not show Sabra. I hope this helps, Phil.

Sabra marries Abraham Perry Avery

Drake Family
Dear Vicky,
I am a descendant of the Richard Sparks Drake. My grandmother was Dorothea Drake whose father was Robert Lee Drake. Do you have any pictures or information on them?

I think you meant to send this message to the other person, because mine was there first by 3 months.

RE: Duplicate memorials

I have tried before and got no answer back.

The contributor should research before entering the wrong name.

Thank you,

RE: Duplicate memorials
Thank you for understanding.
The pictures I took are from Aberdeen Cemetery.
I have family buried there also. The Clark family along with eight other families started the Aberdeen Cemetery.
I have not taken any pictures in Seaside Cemetery.
Thank you for wanting to get the decords correct.

RE: Duplicate memorials
Thank you for your message. The two Memorials you refer to are not buried in Seaside Cemetery.
They are buried in Aberdeen Cemetery. The contributor who entered them in Seaside did not know the difference. Aberdeen Cemetery was part of the Aberdeen Community before Seaside was a Cemetery. Aberdeen was annexed by Corpus Christi.
This is part of our old history of Aberdeen Community which should not be lost. Please check the history of Aberdeen Community at the Corpus Christi Library.
Thank you,
Tom Ramby

I would be glad to transfer your sister to you, if I knew her name, her memorial number, state, cemetery, or anything to give me a clue who we talking about.

Stella Alvey
I need to know about the picture of Stella Alvey you added.
Do you have any other pictures and how did you come by the picture. I am Stella Alvey's great granddaughter.
Her daughter Ethel Alvey Batey my grandmother, her daughter Stella Batey Stevens my mother. My mother has a picture of her grandmother, but she is older in age and we can't really see the resemblance between the two pictures.
Would appreciate any help on this.
Thank you,
Robin Stevens Bolton.
