|Marlene Pajor||RE: Ben Wood|
Thanks, Eva! I really appreciate it. As far as my connection to Uncle Bennie, it goes like this from me, to my father, Harry Bowman, to his mother, Hazel Baker Bowman, to her mother, Lora Wood Baker Havens. Lora and Ben were brother and sister. Their parents were William Leonides Wood and Alice Veloma Baum. They lived in the Wood/Baum mansion on ManderRoad north of Rte 6. The house is still there, but the property is pretty overgrown. Are you related to Ben? I believe he had three daughters, Fern, Dorothy,Thelma and one son. not sure if he has any close family left in the area. I know I'm giving you more info than you want, but you asked!! Thanks again!

I'm wondering if you would give me permission to use the photo of Ben Wood in my family tree on Ancestry. Ben was my great uncle, and I have fond memories of visiting his store in Burdick. He was my great grandmother's brother. The family was raised in what they called Jackson Farms. I would also like to suggest that you offer the picture to the group that is doing the book Memories Along the South Shore. I think they might be interested in using it.

You certainly may transfer Don and Isabelle's Find A Grave files to me and I will keep them up.

Although I do not remember Don driving a school bus, the picture is certainly of Don.
I found nice photos to post to both Don and Isabelle's Find A Grave records but Find A Grave would not accept them because the max of 5 each had been reached.
I would be happy to email them to you. Since the newspaper obits count as photos, you might be able to take the obits out and write a bio for each with the correct information and then include the photos if you want to use them.
Find A Grave seems to have no limit on the size of the bio area. Just send me your email. Mine is Tcollins66@att.net.

|TCollins||RE: Have you ever seen Don Collins?|
Don was my Uncle. I do not know if he ever drove a bus. I did not see any pictures of him in your query.
