I live in Southwest Missouri, and have just joined Find a Grave as a volunteer, although I have been searching family history for well over 8 years now. Figured I should finally pay back those of you who have kindly assisted me over the years.
Happy to help anyone who needs photos in the SW Missouri area.
Happy hunting. :)

RE: Mary Arnold Bell -# 8927180
It came from a cemetery list from Dub Duncan. He has researched around Wolfe City for over 50 years, and I'm not sure where he go his info. I believe this is his cirrent email

Ada Percifield
Hi Julee, I don't know if you have seen my message below, but Ada is not in the Cole Camp Memorial cemetery either. I searched every stone there. Her death certificate just states Cole Camp, so actually, she could be in any one of the cemeteries around here. I will keep looking for her though, ok?

Julee, I am wondering if she isn't in the Cole Camp Memorial Cemetery. There are two cemeteries here with the name Cole Camp. I don't think she's in the Cole Camp cemetery as I and others have looked for her there. However, I will check out the other one sometime in the next few days, depending on the weather, ok? She has to be around here somewhere as her death certificate states Cole "Kamp".

RE: photo of Minnie Bacon
I have been back to Vineyard Cemetery,in regards to Sarah Bacon. I am not sure which Bacon you are talking about. You do have a Cathline Lee Bacon. This person married a Hale Bacon and became a Bacon. Now there is a Sarah Bacon buried there with her husband,James Colton. I think is may be the one you are looking for, born about 1845,and died 1888. If so then they have a common stone, already taken on find a grave. I can take more pics if you want. Let me know, thanks,Alvin

We worked real hard to find her. Her stone was buried under three inches of dirt! She is buried beside Sarah, that's how we found her. We cleaned up her stone,it had been broken off at the base. We will fix her stone like new. Yes Sarah has a gravestone I will be glad to sent a photo of it to your site for her. Take Care.Alvin

You're very welcome. I'm so glad I was passing through St Joe and was able to take those pictures for you! I, too, live in Florida and don't go through Missouri very often (maybe once every 10 years or so). I'm pleased that you like the pictures.

Dear Julee
You are so very welcome. It's messages like yours that make sitting here for hours imputing all these names all the more worth while. I know what it's like to try so hard to find your lost loved ones, and have been blessed to have this website to help me.

You have made my day.

PS. I fulfilled 2 of your others also. My daughter and I had a blast driving to find the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, we are planning on going back and photographing the whole place.

You are most welcome! This particular cemetery has had a lot of damage and vandalism. Many of the headstones have been lost over the side of a hill and overgrown with brush. The headstone of your grandparents was along this hill edge. I was hoping to "save by photo" before it was lost as well. I am excited for your find and I know their memorials will receive the respectful care they so deserve.
