I would be happy to share with you. At the moment we are in South Carolina at our daughter's place. We sold our house, put everything in storage and came down here expecting to be here about a week. Now it looks like the new place will be about 3 weeks to completion. All my information is in storage so will be awhile until I get to it. My grandfather's name was Silas Winfield/Windfeld Dixon. I believe his father was George Washington Dixon. A gentleman named Odie Dixon, now deceased, found the site of the old homestead out in the woods. The only thing still standing was an old sundial, I think. Maybe if you could track down an obituary for him it might list relatives you could contact who could give you info long before I have access to mine. Nancy PS I think some other folks have put together info on Ancestry.com. Might be worth a try.

My Dixons were from Bagdad/Dixon Springs area of Tennessee. Nancy

Yes I did create Emilie's memorial and her mother, Catharina's, BUT, I did not create Annie's. As I tried to explain in my first reply, the only way to link siblings is by linking them individually to their parents. Once each of them is linked to their parents they will shows as siblings on each other's memorial. So, as I said in the first reply, contact the creator of Annie's memorial through the EDIT button telling them the memorial numbers for Charlie and Catharina. Once the EDIT is accepted Annie will show as the sibling of the other five already showing.

Only the manager of Annie's memorial can actually get Annie and Emilie linked as siblings. Send an edit to the manager of Annie's memorial through her memorial with links to her parents' memorials and Emilie and Annie will show as siblings once the parent links are made.

Do you know where Bill's 2nd wife, Lola Joy (Laune) Hecht Payne is buried? Or is she still living?
Also did he ever have more than the one child?

Thank you Susan for the added info. I knew the part of my Mom's family best who lived in the Rio Grande Valley. Please check out Bill's memorial and make sure it is correct now. Also take a look at the family photo on his father's memorial. Do you have an obit or photo you'd like to add to Bill's memorial?

Thank you so much for adding his parent's and adding those beautiful headstone photo's! Let me know when you find or add his brother Martin. I would like to add a link in Adolph's obituary for him as well. I added all of the links you requested, even linked Eugene via the obituary. Sounds like you enjoy linking folks together as much as I do! Don't ever hesitate to send me any information you need updated!
Find a grave is a great resource for genealogical research! I look forward to receiving more updates from you, Dawn
