I started researching our family history about 1995 and have worked on it on and off since. Every time I make a new discovery it renews my enthusiasm for the quest. I rediscovered this site a few weeks ago and was dismayed to discover a Great-Aunt I thought had been gone for about 25 years actually lived to be 103 and didn't pass until 2005. I can't even express my sadness at having missed so much. Lesson learned, keep better track of the living and help solve the mysteries of the past. So that's my quest, to round up family members and link them where I can. Along the way I hope I can help others find the missing and connect the pieces of the their past.|
Feel free to use any pictures I've published for your personal use.

The photo of the headstone looks like headstone is damaged or coroded. Do you know if this is the case or if there is a way to restore it. Clemmie Carbis is my great-grandmother. I live in Redding, CA.
I'm going to be moving soon (30 June 2015) but I do not want to lose contact with you. Cell will stay the same 209 770 2525. e-mail will stay the same lorraine dot schultz at yahoo dot com. I will also stay active on find-a-grave.
Looking forward to staying in touch.

Hi, Mission City Mem. Park (Santa Clara) shows your relative Florence: KENISON FLORENCE
Mar-15-1934 68 9 26 F AGNEW STATE HOSPITAL SECTION "A-12" 45
That's date of death, exact y-m-d age at death (often off by a couple of days), gender, place of death, plot and space.
There is one other Kenison listed but not in the same section so likely not a relative.

thank you for taking the time to find and photograph her headstone!
Go ahead and take a photo, the marker was present when I did my walkthrough in 2009.

Gosh, I'm very sorry for not seeing your message earlier, but this is the first time I have logged in for 2014.
I am going to Friday Harbor on 20 Feb, so please look at find-a-grave for SUTTON in Friday Harbor, San Juan County, WA. If you need any research done at the county office I will not be able to do so since I will only be there Saturday and Sunday.
We are definitely related, so please contact me via e-mail at lorraine dot schultz at yahoo dot com.

Nice pictures but the use of the death certificate in the column is a spoiler to me.
