I'm a graphic artist who is interested in genealogy and family history, anecdotes, etc. The older I get, the more I realize the value of family. |
I especially enjoy designing and producing family-related publications. In the past, my mother and I, with research by one of her cousins, produced a family genealogy book. I've also produced a book of my father's poetry.

Regarding the photos you have added to this memorial (#38786759), do you know who is who in the group photo? JWH and Patra are seated, with their children standing behind them. Any information would be so appreciated! These are my husband's great grandparents.
Kindest regards - Nina Ricks

Hello! I have been doing a little research on my AR relatives. There is one sibling missing on the memorial for Frank Chowning, who was my grandfather. His other sister was Montine Curtis Chowning Stansel. She married BH Stansel (Bunyan Harvey) and they lived in Winston Salem NC. I'd like to be in touch, as I believe we are related! Thanks, Martha Chowning
Respectfully asking you to please check your edit requests…Thanks in advance!

Thanks for posting the three McGoogans in Scotland Cem, Scotland on F.A.Grave. They are my aunt, uncle, and cousin; the only listings for that cemetery. Is "Scotland Cem." in Scotland the same as the "Scotland Presbyterian Cem." in Wesson? There are a lot of other McGoogans listed there? If they are the same, do you know the procedure to merge the two?
Thank you for taking time to read and respond to this for the family's sake.

Thx for pointing out the typo. I missed it. You have a good eye.

Hey, Girl ...
Just use the "Edit" button next to "BURIAL" (just over the cemetery name on the memorial). You will be given a window that says at the top: "Edit the burial information for ______ _______ (the person's name)". Step One: You will see three circles for selection on the left side of your burial choices ("Cemetery Burial" should already be selected). Click "CONTINUE". Step Two: You will be given another window that's entitled "Find the Cemetery". On the top line you will see "Scotland Cemetery". Delete this and type in "Scotland P". This is all it will let you type in, but it's enough. Click "SEARCH FOR THE CEMETERY". You will be given another window in which you will see "Scotland Presbyterian Cemetery" to confirm that's what you want. Click "SAVE CHANGES" at the bottom and you're all done!
I had to do this over 800 times to get all of mine moved. I had asked the F.A.G. editors to combine these two cemeteries over a year ago, but it hasn't happened. I truly appreciate your help with this.

You're welcome, Dear.
|Loretta Talley Stehle||Austin Gresham|
I saw your notice on Find-A-Grave requesting pictures of Gresham graves. My husband and I were there recently (we take rides on our motorcycle) and we found an Austin Gresham. However, the dates on his grave marker are different than the dates you have. We did take photos of the grave if you are interested. Dates shown on the grave stone are 26 January 1850 to 09 April 1922. If there is a chance this is the correct person, I will claim and fulfill the photo requirement for you.

You are so very welcome...glad I could help.

Hi, there......you're very welcome for the photos. They were such beautiful people, according to the personal pictures on their pages.
