Bio and Links
Bio Photo My first experience with family genealogy was 1978, shortly after my paternal grandfather died. After exploring my family as far as I could and no real knowledge of how to research my family I put it aside for another 8 or 9 years. When Jim and I married in 1986 we began a discussion about genealogy and found we were both very interested in it. By then more and more people were exploring their roots. I'm not sure how we discovered the many wonders the Fort Worth Public Library and Regional National Archives had to offer, but once we did there was no stopping us. Only 30 miles away we made a trip to one of them every weekend for many years. Now we do our research in the comfort of our home, spending many, many hours combing the internet for clues to those elusive ancestors. We have always loved old cemeteries, at one time spent countless hours helping clean the local abandoned cemeteries. We don't do that now that our cemeteries are perpetually cared for by the Johnson County Cemetery Association. During that time my husband and I researched and ordered about 32 CSA tombstones from the government for Balch Cemetery. There are more that have not been added, so let me know if you find one in the cemetery.

Cinnamon Girl
Hi Beverly -

Did you receive my email concerning the transfer of my
grandmother Ruby Stephens Latham? Her memorial #
is 65244229. If you would transfer her to me it will be
greatly appreciated. Thank you so much for transferring
my dad over to me in such a timely manner. You are a
great asset to findagrave and I thank you for considering
this transfer to me. Do you need more information?

Have a blessed day,
Jean Ann (contributor # 48238888)

Posting on my grandmothers page Billie Mahaney Long.
Hi my name is Marcia. I have been working on my family tree. When I looked up my grandmothers death I saw a memorial from you. By any chance are you related to our family or was it just a nice gesture. Thank you either way.

I see your name all over the place on this site...thank you for all your great info--I couldn't find anything at all before my grandmother Mary Ann Bird until I found findagrave. Your bio page is very informative and filled with things I never knew. You are an awesome lady! Janace Kaye

RE: Thank you
Hi Beverly,

It was my honor to sponsor the memorial of David Godi. So sorry that his life was cut so short.

I hope you are having a lovely July.

Wishing you well,

New Headstone
Hi Beverly:

I've just added pictures to the listing for Merle Parks Mahaney, Sr. His grave has gone unmarked for 71 years. My wife, Lou Ann, died in March from Alzheimer's. I found myself with all the money that I had set aside for her care, so I decided that it was about time that he had a headstone to mark his grave.

I haven't done much in the family research in a number of years due to her care and other family matters. Have you ever figured out where the Benjamin Mahaney line came from?

Best wishes,

Parks Mahaney III

Are we relayed?
Hi Beverly,
Ian the great niece of John T Mahaney (1854-1933) and Catherine Dwyer Mahaney (1857-1927), both buried in St Patrick's Cemetary in Jordan NY. I see on a ships manifest next to Johns name a Timothy Mahaney. Is this a relative also?

Hi Beverly,

Could you please transfer Find A Grave Memorial# 61195835 to my account? He is my grandfather and I wanted to keep him with my grandmother, Letha. I loved them dearly. I appreciate you managing the memorial and thanks for your time. Happy Holidays,
-Cade Campbell
