My interest in my family history and genealogy in general was sparked with my aunt's stories of her grandfather and family and their journey to Texas from Missouri during and after the Civil War. Years later when deciding on a terminal career path, I chose to become a Reference and Genealogy Librarian. Now I get to do what I love and get paid for it!
