I have been researching my family since 1997 when I retired from the Federal Government and had time on my hands. At first it was a neat thing to do but after six months I cannot put it down. Genealogy has become my life. I origianlly came Rhode Island. Was in the U.S. Navy for 8 years. I lived in Chazy, New York for 16 years and when I retired I discovered that I was related to all of the Patnodes(all spellings) in New England and especially from the North County. My grandparents were born in Churubusco, New York. We have visited several time and did genealogy research from Plattsburgh to Alexander Bay. As my genealogy grows I will be making more and more trips back home to Upstate North County, New York
The two major families in New York are the Patnodes, all spellings and LaClairs, all spellings.

RE: Dandro(w)
I have been to the cemetery in Swanton at the church and did not see her grave. I hope to go back again and will definitely look further. I have not found any burial records for her. Your research is impressive.

RE: Reynolds
Hi Frank, I am related to the Reynolds. My mother was Louella (Lucille) Reynolds and her mother was Georgianna Dandrow (Dandurand). Georgianna's great grandmother was Esther Patnode. That is the only Patnode (spelling?) that I can see in my tree. The Reynolds that are my first cousins today live in Swanton, VT. It was nice to hear from you!

Marcellus Patnode
Hello - Marcellus Edward Patnode was my Grandfather on my Mother's side. My Mother is Marcellus only surviving daughter from his Wisconsin family. I do not know if he had a Washington State family. Thank you for the information on my Grandfather's burial site.

They are both from Delaware County, both died in Pitman, let me know what you find AFTER the knee heals up. Someday soon we will be able to dispatch drones to confirm data like this! Imagine that.
