ADDING TO THE MEMORIALS:|
Anytime I have the opportunity to post individual information on memorial pages, I will gladly do so.
Due to some contributors sending me bogus information, I am now requiring some official record to prove family connections, before I will link them. I want very much to make these connections, but I want them to be correct. Please try to understand when I reply to your request and ask for proof.
Personal family trees posted online are NOT official records.
I will follow Findagrave's policy on these.
===Please keep in mind===
I am sometimes very busy, so it might take me a while to get to your requests and suggestions, but I do save them and when I have a free weekend to work, I try to get them all caught up. Thanks so much for your patience!
-- 2017 WHITEHALL CEMETERY NOTE --
I am accumulating some requests for a Whitehall Cemetery trip I plan to take in the summer of 2017. There has been question of some possible duplicates. I plan to look for proof one way or another. If you have any proof of any duplicates that I have posted, please send it to me. Just because someone has the same name doesn't mean it's proof there wasn't someone else with that name. There are a few namesakes in that cemetery.I don't mean to ignore such suggestions. I just need more proof. Thanks for understanding, and for any help you can offer on this. I am usually there for the annual meeting in May, but I will be later getting down there, this year.
I am especially involved with Whitehall Cemetery at Dykesville, LA, since my dad and many of his family are buried there. I visit the cemetery for more info at least once or twice each year. They have an annual meeting at the Whitehall Church across the road on the 2nd Saturday of every May, around 11 am. You can usually find me there.
NEWS ABOUT WHITEHALL CEMETERY!
Please visit the website at http://www.jespiddlin.net/whitehallreunion.html for information about the multi-family reunion in May! If you're not already having your reunion there, I hope you'll bring it!
YOU ARE WELCOME TO DOWNLOAD AND USE ANY GRAVESTONE PHOTOS THAT I HAVE SUBMITTED ON FINDAGRAVE.COM, AS LONG AS YOU IDENTIFY ME (JesPiddlin) AS THE PHOTOGRAPHER. My reasons for this stance are 1. I may have more related photos or info, or 2. I want the photos in as many hands as possible, so there is less chance of them being lost forever.
PLEASE consider sponsoring memorials of those who are special to you. It is quick, easy and inexpensive, at only $5 per memorial. It removes the ads and allows a lot more photos for that person. Findagrave.com is a wonderful place and we want to keep it free and available for others to find. Your sponsorships help so much.
HELPFUL GENEALOGY LINKS
If you are into genealogy / family history, you may find some helpful info on the "Helpful Genealogy Links" website at http://www.jespiddlin.net/links.htm I try to update the list once or twice each year, to keep it current.
Thank you for all your help!

I believe this is the gravesite of Reddick W. Williams, son of Thomas Walter and Frances Adeline Price Williams, because of the proximity of this grave to his sister Frances Adeline Price (2/6/2860 - 1880, specific date unknown...she was unmarried. Reddick Williams would be the great uncle of my father in law Preston Cornel Williams who was the son of Robert Lee Williams and grandson of Thomas and Frances Williams.

Well, more a relative of a relative. I like to go out at least two or three generations of any relative or relative's spouse. Makes my tree look more like a stand of willows than a single oak, but that's ok.
Aww! Gee, I hope your son's feeling better. Draft someone to help you or call Hospice, maybe they could send someone over a couple of days a week or a few hours a day.

Thank you for taking the photos.
|Sharon Potter||Leroy Duvell Martin|
We just laid Tommy Potter to rest at Whitehall Saturday next to his mom Sandy. She is indeed Leroy's daughter. Daniel Martin B. 1952-1978 is also Leroy and Mary's son. I am Tommy's stepmother and knew the family quite well. For verification I have the family tree at Ancestry.com
