Hi All--My name is Bonnie Emmert. I recently moved back to my home town of Lehighton, PA after being away for 40 years. I have been working on my Gildner family tree for 15+ years and decided it was about time to start posting my pics and information to help others. I love hearing from everyone as genealogy is my passion. I have lots of Gildner information and would love to share. Another connected family is the Heiney family of Monroe County, PA as well as the Schmick/Schlear families of Schuylkill and Carbon Counties.

RE: Pearl Sweet cemetery photo
Hi Bonnie! It is my husband that is related. Our common ancestor would be Johann Michael. Your family goes through his son John, my husband Tim descends from his son Frederick. So we're related, but pretty distantly! Thanks for the info on Pearl's grave. If you're ever there again, I wouldn't mind just a photo of the site. But don't make a special trip! Also, my information has Pearl having 2 sons. Is that correct? But I don't have names or dates for either one. Would you mind sharing that info? You can email it if you don't want to post here. Thanks again!

i attached a few more Highlands that I have in my personal tree. Harry Highland was a second husband to my grandmother but he died before I was born. My dads real father died when my dad was 2. Harry became his dad when my dad was 14. My dad was very happy to have had a dad for 15 years. He tells us that when they went on upholstery jobs people used to comment how much they looked alike. They both got a kick out of that. My dad took it very hard when Harry died and my older sisters have memories of him playing with them as toddlers. Harry might have just married into our family but he was very much a big part of it.

RE: Jacob and Catherine Brosius
Hi, You will need to contact Gary Roberts and/or Grave Hunters about this. I didn't take the photo of Catharine's tombstone or add her memorial. I only posted the main photo for the cemetery which was chosen as the default. I don't have information about this Brosius line.

Miriam & Daniel Herster
Bonnie, Are you sure that Miriam M. Herster Memorial #131378937 is the wife of Daniel Herster
# 131378968.
There is an article on stating that Daniel Herster's Marriage to Kate "Catherine" Wright waws announced in the "Argus" Newspaper. In 1880, at the time of their marriage they were both living in Easton, Pa. Also
In the Easton Express, Easton, Pa. 11 Oct 1924 pg5 states that after an illness with a complication of diseases Daniel Herster of Jamestown died at age 63 yars. Survived by his widow and these children: Mrs. Joseph Collins "Mary", William, and Mrs. Otis Hall. He also had a son Elwood.
