Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a family researcher who has spent the past two years visiting the cemeteries of my ancestors. I have many pictures from the Elba Alabama and Fayette County Illinois cemeteries. I will soon be posting all these pictures and a survey of Monclovia Cemetery near Ramsey Illinois.

I also intend to publish a book about the people buried in Monclovia Cemetery with pictures of the tombstones. This book will be donated to the Evans Public Library in Vandalia, Illinois and the Family Research Center in Salt Lake City, Utah

Thanks to all the other people who have taken the time to survey and upload pictures.

RE: Edward Germann
Hi Susan,
Never mind, Edward F, is not he. But there is a find a grave memorial for Edward German, no dates, in Volney Cemetery, Detroit, Michigan. His sister Emma lived there for some years...Just a thought.

RE: Edward Germann
Hi Susan,
I would love to see Nellie's wedding picture. I can send you via email a the German photo I would love help with. My email address is on find a grave memorial. If you contact me that way I'll email it to you and perhaps you can do the same with Nellie's photo...if you would.

I had another thought about Edward (changed the memorial to reflcect the information you gave me). Emma's family are from Springfield, Sangamon, Ill. There is an Edward F German who died Aug 19, 1947, in springfield, Sangamon, Ill. I've not seen any records where he had a middle initial.

RE: Edward Germann
Thank you so much!!! I'll change the memorial to reflect what you've shared.
How are you related to the Germans? I have a photograph I'm curious about....

RE: Edward Germann
Hi Susan,
Thanks for contacting me. I had to look back at my records. #0017986 Ill. Death cert.
I didn't write for a copy of the record..Perhaps that would make it 100% certain. Do you live in Ill? I'm almost certain that's Edward. I too have him living with his sister in 1940. Nellie is my great aunt on my Dad's side. I found it odd that he isn't buried with Nellie and son Oren at Calvary in Jacksonville.
Would love a copy of your German history! Will you contact me when it's finished?

RE: Laverne and Hannah Field Pictures
You're very welcome. I'm in the process of taking pictures for every grave site in Waverly East Cemetery and just happened to find some of the ones you were looking for today. I will try to get the German's for you tomorrow. Hopefully you'll get them in time, even if I don't take them.

RE: Lambader Family
Sorry I'm not related to the Lambader family and have no further information. I photograph and enter an entire block, so she would have been listed if there was a stone near the others. Currently the cemetery is less than half photographed, so she may be buried there in another location.

RE: Leachman

Such sad news about the Young-Denton cemetery. I have others relatives in the Morrisonville cemetery. I'm going to check on that too.

You're a gem! I have some Shelby, KY records. I will follow that path.

Thanks again.

RE: Leachmans
Hi Susan, in the Young-Denton Cemetery I think your A.E. Leachman is the only Leachman. would make sense that the HMAN piece belongs to that person. All of my other Taylorville Leachmans seem to have been been buried in The Leachman Cemetery. Several DAR members and others transcribed the grave markers they found before the cemetery was buried under asphalt. A very disturbing discovery that I made last week while visiting Taylorville. I will take on your A.E. Leachman if you want me. Not sure how I can help. I have too many mysteries of my own. Any idea of gender? Amazette Leachman Freshwater was my great grandmother. Her name has been spelled in lots of weird ways. I did find her grave last week in Fairfield Il where I grew up and have entered her on this website. I am going to do some investigating about how the Leachman cemetery could have been destroyed. Are you in IL? I'm in AZ. Thanks for communicating.
