mr. chapman, i tried to email you but it failed.
i went out to the bell scene baptist church cemetery and took pictures of william berrong's grave today. i couldn't find mary garrett---according to the towns county cemetery book, mary a. garrett, born 4-15-1848, died 7-17-1923, is buried in the garrett family cemetery, described in the book as on a hilltop behind a large pasture. i don't know if i can find it but i will try. according to the book, her name is grouped with w.k. garrett, born 9-22-1846, died 8-27-1940. his is noted "father; civil war veteran."
w.j., gertrude and titus b. garrett are also in this cemetery, as well as daniel and louesa dawson phillips, j.j. sellers, and julia f. eller.
i will see if i can find it. it does not describe a road.

In 2009 you placed a photo of the gravestone of Frances Lloyd, wife of James Harold Lloyd, located at Fort Mitchell National Cemetery in Phenix City, Russell, AL. I noticed it as I was going through some photos I took today (of JH Lloyd). There was no memorial for Frances, so I created one. I was wondering if you still have the photo you placed at his memorial so that you might place it at hers? Of course, if you don't, you could save a copy to your computer and then reload it at her site. I thought you should have the recognition for that photo. Lind Ames :)

|Kittye Williams-Stuart||RE: ETHEL ABBOTT CORN|
Glad I could be of assistance to you. If Mr. Corn is buried nearby, he may have a flat tombstone that I was unable to see due to the many inches of snow. If/when the snow melts, I will gladly go back up to the cemetery and look for him.
Have a great day!

Thanks for taking the time to photo Justin's Gravestone for me. He served on the same Police Dept. I did. Thanks again James.

Thank you very much Leonard for you effort. I had my doubts that he was there but someone had posted it on here and I had high hopes. He is probably there. Mary Jane Carmack Whitman was his second wife. So he must be in one of the unmarked Graves. I would love to have those pictures you made. I also have a place on ancestry.com I place them. This Whitman line I have traced back to Samuel and that is far as I gotten. I am heading to South Caroline over Thanksgiving hollidays with hopes to find more on his line. Thanks once AGAIN
|Deborah C||RE: JAMES DYKES AND MOZELL PETERS PHOTO|
Have you ever been to that cemetery? It is very easy to miss. :o) Glad I could help. I took photos of all the Dykes while I was there and posted most of them even if there was already a photo listed. Hope that's ok.
