Bio and Links
Bio Photo I live in Shawnee, KS but was born and grew up in Rockville Centre, NY. I have been working on my genealogy for quite a while and got involved with this web site while researching my family. To have pictures of gravestones, dates & places, pictures, obituaries, links to relatives has been a tremendous help in my research.

Please submit any additions or corrections to me under "suggest a correction" on the memorial site. I will be happy to add any information and relationship links for you. Please read the Transfer Requirements before requesting a transfer. Please send all transfer requests through "suggest a correction tab" with a valid email address.

RE: James Reed
Yes I use that site also. Tried to see if death cert was there but no luck. Tried other combinations but still no luck. Good luck in search. If I find anything will let you know. Charles

RE: James Reed
Thanks for getting back to me. I just wanted to let you know because I have run into this before where the stone was put up after a time and the date was wrong. The only way we would know for sure is if we could find the death certificate or the doctors notes. I have found the Mortuary Notice in the Kansas City paper.

Here is a link to it:https://www.ancestry.com/mediaui-viewer/collection/1030/tree/73102163/person/310060021338/media/ba480692-7a96-4eee-8d62-66d844cce0bb?_phsrc=u9b-1752571&usePUBJs=true

The meaning of inst. is instant, meaning of the current month.

Thank you again for your reply.

RE: Jack A Brown Memorial# 126176098
I have added my photo to the original memorial and deleted mine so there will be no confusion for others. Thank you for letting me know. I sometimes duplicate due to I take hundreds of photos at a time and then submit them in a spreadsheet to Find A Grave, sometimes the duplicates get missed if the name is not entered exactly the same. Thank you again. Sherry

Isaac Newton Goodson Memorial# 29492844
Dear Bill,
Perhaps the addition to the bio of the following words will clarify the Goodson Family relationship of Parmelia Ann (Goodson) Goodson and her husband Isaac Newton Goodson.

The parents of Parmelia Ann are Samuel Goodson and Elizabeth (Beck) Goodson. Her grandparents are the patriot Ensign William Goodson and his second wife Margaret (Read) Goodson.

The parents of Isaac Newton Goodson are William Goodson Jr. and Martha (Crouch) Goodson Beck. His grandparents are the patriot Ensign William Goodson and his first wife Elizabeth (Wickham) Goodson.

Thank You for your contributions.

RE: Jacob Morton Bedell
Hi Bill, Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. I remember that Jacob Morton's headstone was laying on the ground and very difficult to read so I didn't take a picture of it initially. I recently went back to Greenfield, (I have my parents, my brother and my grandparents buried there so I go a lot)and I took a picture of the headstone. It still isn't very good, but at least it's something.
