Francis Marion Abbott

Is Francis an ancestor of yours? If so, I have his obituary from 1908 to send you, if you would like to add to your info for him on find a grave and that of his wife Gertrude.

Let me know and I will email to you,

Hi Jim,

Thanks for the invitation to see your tree. Man, have you been busy! It will take awhile for me to really look it over. Again, thanks.

Do you think I should move the memorial of Sally Lenora Wilson Lassiter to Florida Memorial Gardens?

I have two other Lassiter that I have.

Still having trouble with DC. The cemetery computer list him as A.C. Abbott died in 1907 at 71 years. That would put his birth at 1836. The gravesite has no headstone, so I attached a picture of the lawn where his headstone should be. I did find Reed's headstone and will attached it to his memorial soon. Dean

I am finding many errors in the newsclips. Some times the names are spelled different between the death notice and funeral notice. Still, they catch a clip of the person that is often of interest. Thanks for your work.

Jim: I am finding a lot of 'not listeds' on the computer from that period of time. I have a couple options I will fall back on and see if I can locate him. Be patient. Dean

No, I really can't make it out and have no other info at this time. It did look like Elijah and Melissa so you might very well be right. the Sugar Grove Library has a cemetery book, I'm not sure if it would give more info on him or not. I can't check it out at this time, we are finally getting winter. But maybe next summer, if you haven't found out anything. Just remind me. Or put in a photo request and ask for a transcription. It could probably be chalked.

Clarence Abbott
Hi Jim, I found a Mortality Schedule for Clarence. He died of quick acting Comsumption (TB). The schedule was from Ellery, Chautauqua, NY.
Clarence's sister, Mary Abbott b. 26 Dec 1849 Ellicott, married 5 May 1868- Mortimer Almond Rose b. 1 Oct 1847. Mortimer died in Mar 1880 also of consumption and was on the same Mortality Schedule as Clarence. Didn't know if you had this info or not but couldn't resist sending it.
Are you on Ancestry. com? Would love to keep up with the Abbotts. Carol Brown has been kind enough to add Memorials and Photos of more of the Abbott's to the Pine Hill Cemetery.
