I am currently in Oregon, but I grew up in Utah. When I moved to Oregon I found I was living right in the middle of the area where my maternal Grandmother's family settled after arriving on the Oregon Trail.|
I am working on all of my family lines and try to find gravestones for all of them. Here are a few surnames I am working on:
In Oregon, I am working on Bennett, Tatom, Ramsdell, and Caldwell on one side of my maternal Grandparent's line and Bussell, Reed, and Montgomery on the other.
All over the south and southern Midwest, I am looking for Russell, Murphy, Burrous, and Woodward.
In the North Eastern States I am looking for Ramsdell and Crary.
I would be happy to take photos for anyone needing them in the Corvallis, Albany, Philomath, Monmouth, Dallas area.

|Carla Anderson||Bertha (Farnsworth/Anderson/Caldwell|
Hello, Bertha is my grandmother, 1st husband, Edward Anderson. Edward and Bertha (Farnsworth) Anderson's children are Gladys and Carl (not half-siblings). My father is Carl H. Anderson. Therefore, the information you have is incorrect. Peter Caldwell is my father's step-father. (Since 1937.)
I am a member of Ancestry (for many years); therefore, I can get their memorials. But go to Find-a-Grave if you want to know about your ancestors. Since I am a member of Find-a-Grave, I feel it is really important to contact any contributor that has incorrect information.
Children of Edward and Bertha (Farnsworth) Anderson: Alice, Gladys June, Darrell, Carl (my father) and Eldon.
Do you have an e-mail to that I can give you the correct information with their memorial numbers?
Thank you for all the hard work you do as a contributor.

She is My Great Grandmother also. I think my sister may have a copy of her obituary. Her death date was not told to me as she passed away on my birthday which was also her sister May's birthday 8/3. I was told she passed a few days later. She was my favorite person in the world.
When we cleaned out my grandmother Stevens house after her death was when I found out she passed on my birthday.

I do hope that you will find time to complete the change requests that I sent to you as custodian of Oscar C. Ramsdell's memorial.
I have added some important information that should help you connect him to his family.
Please, look for the changes listed on 'your' Find A Grave site.
Thank you, Martin Burrell

It's always nice to hear that a headstone photo has provided or confirmed information about a family member! I was happy to be able to help fulfill your request. If you're interested, you can get a free online copy of John and Ida's Marriage Certificate at the Washington State Digital Archives site. Good luck with your family research!

You are very welcome. It was starting to get dark and I was having trouble with my camera and so I was hurrying. I noticed when I loaded them onto the computer, that the picture of the double stone was hard to read but went ahead and used it. I live very close to there and do plan on going back over there to take more pictures and I intend on taking another picture of the double headstone that will be clearer when posted to the memorial.
I have linked her to her parents. Would you like her transferred to you?
|DLT||William & Rosa Woodward|
I have made the additions to their memorials. If you would like, I would be glad to transfer their memorials to you. You may add the photo either way. You do not have to manage a memorial to add a photo. I found their marriage on Ancestry, 12-31-1893 in Bienville Parish, LA.

The building in one of the photos is an old church which is not being used for anything now. There was a family at the cemetery that day cleaning it up. It has been a labor of love because this is a REALLY old cemetery and I don't think there are any funds for upkeep. I am glad you liked the photos. Have a great week!
