I was born in Florence, S. C. to Robert Leigh Maring from Chester, Pa. and Maude Lois Marshall Maring from Florence, S. C. who was born in Williamsburg County, Andrews, S. C. I was raised in Andrews and Williamsburg County. Later married to Dale Syler and the mother of three children and eight grandchildren. Then married to Wayne Wheeler and divorced and have been in Texas for ten years. My second time to live here and am enjoying it for a second time, although I go to S. C. as much as possible as I love my rural roots and family. Emily
