|I am a 65-year-old married woman living in Salt Lake City. I love doing our family genealogy and Find A Grave has helped immensely! My father's lineage goes from Albert Burney Cannaday, Albert Asa, gr grandfather Asa, from Roanoke, and Charles & Mary Ingram from Franklin Co. down through James & Elizabeth from Patrick Co. My grandmother was Christine Coleman, dau of Clinton C. & Nancy E. Rush Coleman. Other names on my family's side are Coleman, Chapman, Poff, Graham, Ingram, Raikes and Kennedy. Names on my husband's line are Sanders/Saunders, Parker, Tidwell, Wright, Zabriskie, Allred, Angell and Fausett. We both come from Scotch Irish heritages. We both retired and we've been married for 12 years. My hobbies are genealogy, gardening, traveling, meeting new people, and arts'n crafts.|

Hey there, I took photos of William & Minnie Cannaday Poffs stones today I can transfer Minnie to you if you would like I will get the other Cannadays tomorrow that are with her. Just thought you would like to know if you are researching them. The dates didn't match completely to the stone as you have listed I sent you and edit.
Thanks and have a great day.

Ann, I am working with Evergreen management to photograph the entire cemetery. If you can wait they will eventually be there, if not give me the names and next time I am over there to take more photos, I will look for yours. The cemetery if very large and I have photographed about half (which has taken me about 15 trips so far), although I have not yet gotten them all on Find A Grave.

I have Nancy Elizabeth Rush Coleman's dob as 6 Feb 1875 in Culpepper, Rappahonnock, Virginia, and her dod as 2 Mar 1960 in Roanoke, Roanoke, Virginia. She is buried in the Fairview Cemetery (2-62-7), 3300 Melrose Ave. NW, Roanoke, Virginia by her husband Clinton Clay Coleman.
I don't know where you got 1898 as her death date.

Please refresh my memory as to where you found the 1898 date. I had her date of death listed as after 4/1/1930 in my files as I have her in the 1930 Census. I do not recall anything with an 1898 date.

Nancy appeared on the 1900, 1910, and 1920 US Census' so the above death date of 1898 cannot be correct. I have not been able to find her actual DOD.
