|priscilla ross-fox||Burch Pioneer Cemetery and Burbank|
Sorry to have to add to original message to you but this is the message I received from a person on Find A Grave in early June 2009:
"Greetings from Find A Grave, We are writing to let you know that a Find A Grave volunteer has reported a problem with your photo request for Elizabeth Burbank. The general problem they reported is: I searched the entire cemetery and could not find the grave
They also reported, specifically: As mentioned for the other Burbank grave, I found no Burbank markers in the cemetery and there are no Burbanks listed in two lists of burials that I have. Due to this problem, we believe that this photo request can not be fulfilled. As a result, we are removing it. If you can fix the problems that were reported and believe a photo can be acquired, please feel free to make a new request."
Although I was certain Thomas was buried in that cemetery I deleted my entries. I have no idea why Find A Grave would just allow my requests to be removed. This is not right.

Am wondering why when I added him to Burch Pioneer Cemetery I received a message back that after "searching the whole cemetery" he or others of the family were not buried here.
|Tim Gosselin||Sarah Taylor Hooker|
I have recently been to the Burch Pioneer Cemetery. Besides a considerable search I also received a copy of the complete list of interred souls from the land owner. I feel certain that Sarah Taylor Hooker is not buried in this cemetery. I rather believe I have found her in the Montgomery Cemetery on Maple Grove Road (between Lewisville and Airlie) in the same county. At this time I intend to list her at that location but would entertain comments as to why this would be incorrect. Anyone in disagreement may contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org. I will be pleased to see the error of my ways and repent.
I requested that Find-A-Grave delete all of the entries that you had made that were duplicates of mine and they completed it last weekk.

|Tami K.||Deleting memorials|
Hi- I have sent you requests to delete duplicate entries up through the Burches at this point. Once those are taken care of I will go on to the next batch. I know this is a tedious task but needs to be done so records are accurate. Sorry -I can't think of an easier way to do it. If it becomes too much work for you I will contact Find-A-Grave and ask if they can delete the duplicates. Thanks!

Thank you so much for the photos of William and America Williams! I really appreciate it. Obviously, this is a small, overgrown cemetery so it's even more special that you went out of your way to take these pictures. I posted them, but you should have. I've got a lot of "extended family" in Oregon so having someone like you willing to do this is so valuable to those of us who can't get there (I live in New Hampshire).
Thank you again!
|Tami K.||Double Entries|
I had already listed the majority of these burials and now they are all double entered which makes for an incorrect grave count. When entering names it helps to do a check first to see if they are already listed. I have entered over 6,000 names and I still make this boo-boo myself! If you have corrections or need changes made just contact the person who has made the original entry and they're always glad to help. You can always add photos to other people's memorials.

I have several pictures I took Spring 2010, 2 families, Ira Hooker and William Williams, I also have picture of sign where you turn in. Coming from Suver towards Arlie it is on the left hand side before you get to the old school. The sign has the info of the Timber Co. who owns the propery. My high school friend Gerald Tarter was born and raised in Arlie and he an his wife found it for me. I took the pictures to give to the Polk County Historical Soc. and Find a Grave.com. Send me your email and I will send them to you. My is: email@example.com

You have entered new files for already exisiting ones resulting in double entries.
|Don Johnson||Williams Cemetery, Polk County, Oregon|
I have a few requests for photographs at this cemetery but I am unable to locate the cemetery. It is probably on someone's property off of either Airlie Road or Maxfield Creek Road. Do you know whom's property this cemetery might sit on? The GPS coordinates are available but I do not own a GPS receiver.
Can you help me?
