|I live in south central Montana and have been conducting genealogical research since 1964. I have a BS in Biology and an MEd in Chemistry Education. I have traveled extensively for my work and pleasure and have visited 15 foreign countries on 5 continents. I have accumulated a lengthy genealogy with the usual mix of long family lines and brick walls. I have authored 2 books and am working on 3 more. Genealogy is the only hobby where you can make an exciting discovery of a new ancestor and then have the added job of tracing the ancestry of two more people.|

This cemetery is Clear Springs, if you click on "map" on the cemetery page, you will see the map location. This cemetery is on private property, on top of a hill. We took all readable tombstone pictures and posted them on Find A Grave.

Yes, you are right. That also makes more sense;) Thanks for the correction.
Links made to the memorials for her parents. Thanks so much for sending the information, and for posting your photograph of the grave marker on her memorial page. Please let me know if you are related and would prefer to manage her memorial. I would be happy to transfer it to you. Thanks!

Thanks for the update on the Akers Cemetery. I've removed the note mentioning the cemetery having been destroyed since 2003.
Would there be anyway to add the google earth image?
Thank you for your suggestion of the transcription. I agree with what you've suggested. I've always thought it was McGaw too, but the cemetery records say Megaw. Probably an error on their part. Thanks again!

Thank you for the suggestions. Cruise Creek Cemetery is very primative and has been neglected for over 50 yrs. I obtained a list of burials from Sheri but do not know where she got the list. Sheri and her daughter found the gravesite and took the pictures. I have pieced together some of the graves. I am not sure about Hanna (Hannah) both have pictures of headstones. I will have to do some more research to see if the Hanna documented as Hannah Lamie Cox is buried in Va. and Hanna Miller was not a Cox and not related. What is your information you are bassing this on. I am in Houston Tx at this time and do not have access to my geneology info in Phx. but will try to research this more when I get back.

Thanks for the kind words. They are much appreciated! Yes, we are related. Both of our Thayer lines trace back to Isaac Thayer (1672 - 1754). From Isaac the lineage back is Ferdinando (1625 - 1713), Thomas (1596 - 1665, he immigrated to America from England), and Richard Thayer (1562 - 1625, born and died in England).
You can trace my Thayer line back by starting wirh my father Marcus Carl Thayer, Jr. Find-a-Grave number 6593899.
I do have two questions so far of you. 1. Do you know the death date of Henry George Thayer (born 1832 in Canada and died in the USA, his father was Jarvis Thayer, born 1802 and died 1832)? 2. Do you know where Henry George Thayer is buried?
Thanks for contactimg me. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Thanks for the birth date of John Soper.

Sorry. Your original request for an Edit simply read like a narrative, rather than asking that the erroneous links be removed. I will unlink them. I only do links when folks send them to me, so obviously this was someone else's error.
|B.J. Waters||Mattie Boone|
She is already linked to her parents, so the information you suggested is redundant. I would like to say, however, that the fact that the two brothers each married sisters should be added their memorials, as it concerns them more directly. Thank you anyway.
