Bio and Links
Bio Photo I began working on my family tree in 2008, picking up where my father left off. He did not have the resources of the Internet but still managed to collect a lot of family pictures and data. I have combined his information with a genealogy of my Mother's family published by a cousin and have added much more that I have found on Ancestry, MyHeritage and other websites. This work has led me to reconnect with cousins that I had lost contact with years ago, plus I found some 6th cousins that I didn't know existed. One of my greatest surprises was to find that my paternal Grandfather's heritage was Quaker. It's a good thing that I'm retired, because this hobby is consuming a lot of my time.

Harriet Stegall Study
Hello, Do you have any evidence that Harriet Stegall (9009668) was born in NY, as you have listed on her memorial? I can't find any evidence that the Stegall family was ever in NY. They were from NC before Indiana, so maybe it's a typo?

RE: What is your conection to the Study family?
My great-great aunt married Charles Henry Study. I'm trying to figure out where the connection is to James Howard Study that lives in Centerville, IN. If you have any information that ties him into the Study families in Williamsburg, IN or Randolph Co., IN that would be much appreciated.

RE: Mary Lovina Study
You should be able to go into Mary Lovina Study's family links and remove Henry T. & Mary A. (Kiser/Tisor) as her parents. That's odd that it allowed two sets of parents though. It usually only shows one set and multiple ones for spouses. It could have been uploaded that way if multiple records were submitted at the same time. It may be something that findagrave will have to fix for you.

Interesting. I knew of the 2 different churches but didn't know their history. Thanks for sharing. I was concerned that my entries were incorrect but I had taken them from church records.

Laura Frock
I just realized that you are the one requesting the photo. My brain is slow at times!

Laura Belle Frock is located in the cemetery and I will be getting the photo for you this weekend. She is in the new section plot# L02-07 and is listed as the daughter of William and Mary A. Frock born 23 March 1871c died 25 Feb 1896 aged 24 yrs, 11 months and 2 days.

One more thing
The church, which used to be one church, is now two seperate churches. Both are located only a half a block away from each other. When doing research, you need to make sure which church to look at for records.

Here is a link to the history of the church.

Have a good day!

Re: Lovina Frock
Good afternoon! You have a very good question and I can answer it for you. The St Mary's cemetery is one cemetery that has two sections-one is the "Old" section and the other is the "New" section. The cemetery itself is one cemetery with the church located across the street. Some time back, Find A Grave had three separate listings for the same cemetery(St Mary's Old, St. Mary's New and Silver Run.) Many people were confused as to the set-up and created various versions and had been listing memorials in all three. This made it confusing. I am a member of the Carroll County Genealogical Society and have taken on the task to photograph the cemeteries of Carroll County. St. Mary's is one I am currently working on. I am the one who had Find A Grave combine the various listings into one cemetery to prevent confusion and to show that it is only one cemetery. It is located in the very small town of Silverrun but the address is listed as a Westminster, MD address--many of the smaller towns are listed under the main town becuse of zip codes. Lovina Frock is located in the old section of the cemetery. This section is a vast open space now with the headstones placed in four rows near the street side. I have all 900+ photos done in the section and it is now complete and all the old section photos are listed on this site.

I hope this answered your question. Please feel free to email me with any other questions or suggestions. I am happy to help any way I can.

Best regards,

Linda Ashley Conroy
