I grew up in Bluffton and knew Dot and Glen very well. It was nice to receive the obit and add to Mr. McKelvey's memorial on Find A Grave.

Thank you for the transfer of Annah's memorial. I am traveling out of state to do more research on the Anthony family and will add more later.

I have copies of about 12 Arnold diaries (1853-1903) that I refer to often, in the diary of Henry H Arnold dated July 25, 1894 states that "Mrs Greider, Mary and Jacob was here today. I and Jacob make a new fence around the graves of the Wolf, Bealer and Greider Children."
This would at least indicate that three graves were located outside of the stone wall around the Arnold Family Stone Cemetery. Only one original stone remains (1903)of these three children, the reading on the stone left is Samuel Wolf, son of Jacob & S, died 8 October 1843, 3y, 5mo, 8d. Samuel Arnold’s (Henry H Arnolds brother) first wife Hannah’s father’s name was Jacob Wolf. This Samuel Wolf could be Hannah’s brother/nephew etc. or since it was located outside of the stone wall it may not have been a close family member of the Arnold Family?
In 1992 a curator showed me where the three graves were located, on the south-west side of the stone cemetery. Someone had put a wire fence around where the graves were located but (2015) I noticed the fence was missing!

Thank you for transferring the Arnold family memorials that are buried in the Arnold Family Cemetery. They are the Arnolds that lived on the now Carriage Hill Farm from 1831 to 1915. Daniel purchased that 158 acre farm from his father in law Henry Harshbarger in mid 1831.

Hi Mr. Zeigler,
Thank you for adding the picture of Mr. Whitehead's headstone. It is most appreciated.
I do not know who added the bio, but again if it was you, thank you very much. I originally posted it as "Tall Oak," but didn't get back to it.
Thank you again!

Being a new Find A Grave volunteer has proved to be exciting. Hopefully I can contribute often. Thanks again for the memorial transfers.
