|Jerlean Pruitt||Edmond Sams b. abt 1802|
Hello Darla Sams, I have 2 Sams lines, Elijah Sams b.1819 d. 1880 (wife Sarah (Sallie) Nance of Henry County, VA and Ebline/Eveline Sams Carter, buried in Spray, NC. I think they are related some how. I think Edmond Sams b. abt 1802 wife Mary on the 1850 Census of Rockingham County, NC with William Carter and Ebeline Sams Carter lived next door on the 1850 Rockingham County, NC Census record, I think that Ebeline Sams Carter is the dau of Edmond and Mary Sams. Also, I suspect that Edmond Sams and Rice Sams, b. 1804 in VA and d. 1894 in Rockford, Blount County, TN are brothers. Do you have more genealogy on Rice Sams siblings? you have his Father as Elijah Monroe Sams. Could you share with me more abt Elijah Monroe Sams and also tell me where he is buried? I live in Madison, NC which is abt 15 miles below the VA/NC states line. The Sams line has been researched, however, since they used the same names over and over, it gets somewhat confusing. Thank you, Jerlean Pruitt
Actually that information was sent by another the only information I add what was on the Marker. I will remove them per Your information. Great catch.
|Wm & SJ. Donath||John J. Lehr and Elizabeth Lehr Obituaries|
I sent these two obits to the Find A Grave sites--Hope you will post them--Thanks! John and Elizabeth Lehr.
I saw that you offered me Rinker photos--YES!!!! any pictures you have including any Koetz or Kates etc. would be greatly appreciated. I will send you my hotmail email, but I have to look it up again.Thanks Wm & SJ. Donath #48116482. P.S. We are trying to find anyone with pictures of the old farmsteads as many homes have been destroyed or remodelled so if you happen to have pictures of homes please let me know. Shirley D.
Sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you--doing a remodel and it eats up a lot of time lately so haven't been doing my ancestry research lately.
That's OK. Thanks for checking!!! Happy New Year to you and your family!

My Dad, William Arthur Lehr, asked me to see if I could locate a photograph of Godfrey Lehr, who would be his Great Grandfather. I remember you mentioning that you had some of the Lehr photographs. Would you happen to have a photograph of Godfrey Lehr?

I noticed that you had all of the Lehr memorials transferred to you. Are you a relative? My father is William Arthur Lehr. Thanks!

|Robin Womble Autry||John Womble|
I am descended from John Womble thru Nathaniel Green. I'd love to see any photos you have or learn more about what you know about John's war time, where he lived and where he is buried. I am working to begin DAR/SAR application. I am on ancestry and a member of Foy's Womble Research Group. I was around 1999-2002 and am just returning to research.
Thanks - Robin Womble Autry

I am sure that you will do a much better job with these memorials than I would. Please let me know if you would like me to transfer any other relatives in the GRC to you.
