I have not yet made any contributions to FAG but I am very appreciative of the memorials posted and when I find a memorial to someone in my database I am always excited to learn something new about them or perhaps suggest corrections to the contributor when necessary. In a few cases, I have found information that has led me to correct some of my own information as well. I have an abundant amount of information on the descendants of John George and Catherine (mnu) KEGLEY who settled in what is now Wythe County, Virginia before the Revolutionary War (more than 35,000 as of 3 January 2015!)and am willing to share it with other KEGLEY descendants.

RE: Whites and White Descendants Memorials

I am not related to James White or the Conn family but I do take a lot of pictures and have seen several of the "Conn" Family around these parts. If you need anything please let me know and I will help all I can.

I don't think I'm related to your Barnes line.

I don't know how you can get in touch with Roxanne. I haven't heard from her in sometime.

Sorry, I don't seem to be much help.

I do have a Barnes connection in the Coffee Creek area. If you have a Manvil Theodore Barnes in your records, who is married to a Elizabeth Robinson, then I can provide some information, especially on the Robinson line. I have a main Robinson line in Jennings County, Indiana.

Thank you for stopping by my page. If I have any errors I'm in hopes everyone seeing them would tell me.
I can't begin to tell you how many times I have been blessed, or how busy I have kept my guardian angel.

RE: Find A Grave Memorials in Oakland Cemetery, Richland County, Ohio

I have changed the deathdate, but I cannot add the mother to the children's memorials, you will need to send a message to whomever has the memorials.

Laughing out loud in pure delight regarding your comment about my rant!

You just let me know when and if you want to manage any memorials that I have who happen to be your relatives. Not too hard to manage a memorial and really quite fun - especially when you are related.

Best to you,
judy :)

Happy New Year!

I would be most delighted to transfer your relative, Grace Kegley's memorial, to your care. Just let me know.

And I am SO happy that you approve of the obituary. I think I should have removed the living people's names as per Find A Grave. But I found an obit of one of my great aunts with whom I was not well acquainted and I was so thrilled to know a little about her life.

Thank you for listening to my rant earlier!! I really try to keep the memorials that I create and manage as correct as possible.

Grace Elizabeth Kegley memorial

The only linking I did on this were her parents and linked her parents to Wayne Stanley Kegley which shows up on her memorial. This is one of my pet peeves. People find a last name and just link!! Without knowing anything about the family. It is next to impossible to validate every link sent to me. There should be a way to put the number of the person asking for linking on the memorial so we would know who to "yell" at when it is wrong.

I WISH people would just stop linking unless it is THEIR family or close friend in which case they would know who belongs with whom.

RE: John A Black in Black-Trent Cemetery
Yes, I'm connected to John A. Black. He's my 2nd Great-Grandfather, my Great Grandmother Martha Ann Black-Trent's father. Martha Ann was one of the children he had with Martha Ann Riddle, his 2nd wife. Martha Ann Black-Trent's son Crumble was my Grandfather. I have an account at You're more than welcome to come and look around, see if I have any information you don't already have. Ol' John is rather the mystery man. I've been told but I have no confirmation or proof of any kind, that his mother was a prostitute or that she simply didn't want him or abused him as a baby or young boy and he was taken in by an older couple and adopted their last name.
I would love to swap info if you have any. You can contact my e-mail at I look forward to hearing from you.
