I am the grandmother of 11 grandchildren and have four beautiful daughters. I currently am not able to drive very far due to disability so all the people that have helped me have done so in a loving and considerate manner. I appreciate all the work everyone is doing for Find A Grave and praise all the workers for their continued efforts of helping others find the "Missing Links".

Hi Deborah,

You're very welcome. I also uploaded photos to Hazels site. And I went back & looked at my photos again on your memorial pages, and I don't like how small they are, so I'm going to fix that. Maybe not tonite!- haha- I wore myself out... but real soon. I want you to be able to see them really good.

That section of the cemetery is old and many of the graves are unmarked. I tried asking at the office but they now charge a fee to answer questions about any grave over 10 years old.

RE: Davis Cemetery
The Lat Lon for this cemetery is 36.374446, -95.836691. It is physically located at the North end of 12th St. in Collinsvlle. Put the lat lon in google earth or maps and you can get an overhead of he cemetery. There are a lot of unmarked graves there because many years back the cemetery was not kept up and it was vandalized terribly. The Cherokee nation is now taking care of it I have some pictures of the map of the cemetery. I actually did upload some info I got from the library but they were rejected by Find A Grave.

Ridgelawn, the city cemetery, is located less than a mile west of town on Highway 20.

RE: Davis Cemetery
OK What I have found out is that Davis has been renamed to Victory Indian Cemetery. If I had looked at the names I would have known but I didn't. I have a lot of the photos for this cemetery.

Have no clue when it was renamed.

Dear Debbie --

You are so welcome. We could not leave his grave without leaving something for him. We have been in that cemetery many a time, we had naively assumed that if there was not a marker there, no one was buried there. Now we know better. When we go again we will be sure to leave him something. He is remembered.

Dear Deborah --

I have sent you an e-mail regarding info on Baby Hopkins. My husband Stephen Hopkins is the one that took the photo for Baby Hopkins' grave. Please let me know if you do not receive the e-mail, it has his burial date and the plot info and also a map of where he is buried.

Thank you,

Tamytha Hopkins

RE: Davis Cemetery
OK the lat lon you gave me was the lat lon for Ridgelawn cemetery in Collinsville. Ridgelawn is now taken care of by the City but before the 1900's it was an Indian cemetery and I do not know what the name of it was. They may be in there.
