Elizabeth Buford #60442606
Hey Christine

Thanks so very much for all your hard work on the info you have provided. I am a descendant of Mary Ann Buford Robinson Horney who was the sister of Abraham Buford who it seems was the father of this child.

I thought I had the Bufords in my database but stumbled on this Elizabeth Burford. Am I right in thinking the Inscription: "11 d. Daughter of A. & A." means she was the daughter of Abraham and America Moore Buford and lived only 11 days". I think her dates may be wrong if you do not mind checking.

Her Grandmother Elisabeth Davis Buford's dates are August 1802 - 10 Nov 1863.

Thanks again

Christopher and Minnie (Rose) Wilson
I am researching Minnie B. Rose, is a distant cousin. I discovered her on your Ancestry tree. I am looking for information on Minnie, and her Rose family. I know they moved to Bismarck between 1887 and 1895, and left between 1895 and 1900. Both Minnie's parents, John Henry and Jennie Rose are buried in the Bismarck City Cemetery. John Henry was a shoemaker for many years in White Hall, Il. He died in 1895, in Bismarck and Jennie in 1900, in St. Joseph, MO. I saw a link that Christopher had family living in Bismarck, so I wondered if that may be where they met. Thank you for including Christopher's obituary from the Bismarck paper on Ancestry. It was very informative. I would love to find one for John Henry Rose.
I have been unsuccessful in finding what may have brought the Roses to Bismarck, and any documentation of them living there, aside from the graves of John and Jennie. I was told all the records went to the library in Farmington, however, they could not find anything. Do you know if there was a town directory? I have queried The State historic Society of Missouri as well. Any ideas or assistance would be greatly appreciated. Liane Rose Leavitt

Two "Elizabeth Buford" lists
Hello Christine - quick correction - Elizabeth Buford [1801 - 11 Nov 1863 #60442606] and Elizabeth "Betty" Davis Buford [8 Aug 1802 -10 Nov 1863 #60442605] are the same person. Both have the Memorial #60442605 and both are buried in the Dobbins Cemetery in Reynolds County.

Elisabeth [family spelling with an "s" [irrelevant piece of info ;) ]Davis Buford was the MOTHER of Abraham Buford, On #60442606 she is identified as his child [note he was born in 1840 and she in 1801].

I do not know if Abraham had a daughter Elisabeth and her dates are incorrect and there were two Elisabeths.

John and Elisabeth Davis Buford were my gggrandparents through their daughter Mary Ann Buford Robinson, wife of George W. Robinson, their daughter Elisabeth Robinson Chitwood, wife of Henderson Chitwood and their daughter, my grandmother Amanda Chitwood Stevens.

Sorry for the hassle--I cannot imagine how you manage to do all this! Thanks for your hard work.

help clearing up grave duplicate
My family traces back to Imboden through my maternal side. Her father was Charles Imbody and this traces back to Johann Adam Imboden.

recently I found that two find a grave memorials for Johann Adam Sweickert Imboden seem duplicated except for which cemetery he is in. Could you contact me directly about this ? Maybe you will have info that can clear it up. or 601-939-9986
