I believe you have an error. John Jones b 6-17-1834, was married to an Elizabeth but she is not a Chipman or a Chapman.
A John Jones m Elizabeth Chipman 8-8-1846 Madison Co TN, Our, John would of been only 12 years old.
Another John Jones m Elizabeth Chapman 5-4-1848 Washington Co TN, again not possible. John would of been only 14 years old.
John is found in 1850 census at 16 living in his father's house.
John and Elizabeth's first child was born 1855. Seems more likely that they were married apx 1854.
I'll keep looking to identify Elizabeth's last name.

Hi Lisa -
Robert John Galvan is my half-brother (same mother, different father). His father's birth surname was Love. The surname Galvan is adopted.
Are you on Ancestry? That is where I have my tree and the majority of info easily accessible.
Happy to assist if I can.

On vacation right now. Email me your surnames and I will check when I get home in a week.

The pictures have been posted along with the GPS coordinates. When you zoom in you can see some of the gravestones from the view above. I did not see any Leonards. As some point I will make it back and possibly also visit the Evergreen and Greely cemeteries. In any case I somehow need to make contact with whomever is putting flowers on the graves of Mathew & descendants. I would like to know if the MOTHER stone is the marker for Catherine Dougherty.
|Bill Porteous||Mr. & Mrs. John Dougherty|
I made it to the Holy Cross Cemetery for the first time today after driving 900 miles or so from home. I went to see what Dougherty monuments were actually in Block 6, Lot 11. There is one in the center for Matthew, Mary, and Edward. But none for all of the children that were supposed to have been buried there and none for John. There is one that is marked Mother, so I presume that this is the one for John's wife, Catherine Dougherty. There were flowers for the Matthew, Mary, and Edward monument. This is interesting because it means there are descendants in the area. There were also flowers at the Wilfred & Irene Cousineau gravestone. I thought about leaving a message in a bottle, but I was not equipped. Sometime in the next couple of weeks I will be uploading pictures and GPS coordinates.

There appears to be errors in birth and death dates, or in information pertaining to this person. You have the same birth and death dates.
