I like finding my ancestors, but I'm not very experienced. I have ancestors in Chesterfield County, VA, Cumberland County, VA, Buckingham County, VA. I'm sure there are many more . . .A few names WORSHAM, RAIKES, ORCUTT, FLIPPEN, LESUEUR, ALLEN, WOOTEN, etc.

Hi Judy, you sent me an edit that shows Anne Roye is the spouse of Anne Roye. I will reject, if you want to send in another link? Thanks, Larry

RE: Maury Cemetery
Hi Judy, I do not have a map of Maury. I have one for Oakwood that a local guy did that is nice should you ever need it. Try the City of Richmond 646-8559 for Maury. They can look up the info for you. I have not had much dealings with Maury, but the City staff at Oakwood is easy to deal with. Larry

RE: Mr. Shearin
Have you ever been to the Shearin/Harris Cemetery in Littleton? If you do take me some pictures. I've been looking for Isham Shearin, his wife Nancy Riggan Shearin, and their son James O. Shearin's grave locations. Isham died in 02/1835 in Warren County. His father, grandfather, and some of his brothers are buried in the Shearin/Harris Cemetery but I'm not sure if he is or not. I know they lived near Hawtree Creek and was the neighbor of Nathaniel Macon. His probate names his heirs. His son James O. Shearin died in 1862 in Warren County. James's land was on Hawtree Creek near the bridge over Hawtree Creek. I figure there is a cemetery somewhere close to there that holds their burial sites. If you happen to run across something I would be amazingly grateful.

RE: P Wilson
Thank you!! And yes I'd love to see the landscape pictures of the cemetery. If you do come across a Shearin/Shearon/Sherron/Sherrin or related spellings I'd manage them for you. The Shearin family all came from Granville, Warren, Halifax, Franklin, and Nash Counties. I have a database that I've worked on for the past 18 years that contains over 15000 Shearin's and related families. Elvira's grandfather Frederick K. Shearin's brother Isham Shearin is my direct line. Thank you for your help.
