Harriett Martin Wages
If you haven't located yet, she was the daughter of Augustus J. "Gus" Martin and Nancy Magbie. You can find Harriett enumerated in the 1850 census of Jackson County with her parents and siblings. As I recall the household is not far from the listing of Andrew Wages in Jackson County. In the 1850 census she is 6, sister 4 and sister 2. Dad is 48 and Nancy (wife) is 31. Hope this is helpful.

Morgan genealogy
I have attempted to connect Morgan & Watts families with birthplaces North & South Carolina without success prior to 1800. Wm Henry W Morgan born 1818 (some have 1823) married two Watts sisters/daughters of Rev. George Watts of South Carolina. They lived in the Brantley,(Red Bone Dist) Marion Co, GA for about 80 years before homesteading in Pasco Co, FL. I am FindaGrave member 47053636 as of 17 AUG 2013 - Richard Morgan typically use

Perman M Weldon
Are you aware of his bio in Huxford's Pioneers of Wiregrass GA vol 11 p 445-446? The bio was submitted by Darryl Weldon, Odenton, MD. Mr. Weldon includes sources for his info. I have also done the research, and Mr Weldon's his info is valid.

Vol 11 pg 441-451 of Pioneers of Wiregrass GA includes other members of Perman's family with bios and research submitted by Mr. Weldon.

RE: Dumas
Hi Doug, The book on the Dumas' Family by Freda Payne Dumas is hard to find. Do you know if Freda is still selling them on her own? I have read an sample and would love to own a copy. Thanks so much for telling me about it.
