RE: Dates of interment
I have checked my master records for this cemetery which was where I started with doing the work on it. (Stambaugh Cemetery has the best records in the local area-lucky!) On the same line are listed Hilda Tackmier & baby Clara Tackmier, so Hilda must be the mother. The records are done chronologically, and while there is a big "?" for the date for the baby, it falls between Aug 18 1909 and Jan 29 1910. That should help!
I will update the FindAGrave entry.

RE: Dates of interment
Tackmier headstone in Stambaugh Cemetery: the baby Clara buried here is probably a stillborn baby of a family member with no birth/death data. If we knew date of interment, we could add this child to the family history.

RE: Dates of interment
well, sure. The best place would be to contact the cemetery. You could also check the local newspaper. Or the funeral home.

I need more specifics. Are you referring to someone buried in the Iron River area? Then the best place to check would be with me! I have been going through the local newspapers and have indexed all the obituaries in an easy format so I can find out when during the year someone died if only a year date is available. You could check this website: www.rootsweb.com/~obituary . Obituary Daily Times is a indexing website where the date that someone's obituary was in the newspaper is given. It is all done by volunteers, so it depends if someone is indexing the newspaper where the obituary was included. A big benefit here is that it also indexes women by their maiden name if it was given.

I assume that what you actually want is the death date, since the date that someone was buried is not that important. Please contact me if you are looking for someone buried in the Iron River area, and I could easily answer your question!

Dates of interment
Hi Dale,
Would there be a place to find dates of interment to help the family when there are no birth/death dates listed?
