Bio Photo I became interested in genealogy back in 1997 when i wanted to find information about my biological father and my ancestors on his side. After finding some info on him i was hooked and haven't lost interest...seems the more i find the more i want to know, plus i enjoy helping others with their research.

RE: ???
I was the only family member left that had any interest in genealogy. My family really died off the last four years, downsouth. The rest could take it or leave it. They did some pictures on a CD,but they had no idea after seventy years who some of the people were. I dumped a bunch of pictures before my son went to Iraq because nobody could identify them.My dad kept most of his relatives names in his head.I did received some of the pictures when my last uncle died, those had names on most.I even offered to set my aunt up so she could take over the transfer of her parents and sister and brother, did not seem interested.
My great grandparents had pictures done every so often even during the Depression. Some of them are on their memorials, thanks to my friend Vicki.I used her scanner, computer and her address. She is an expectant grandmother again in next couple of weeks.Although I transferred her brother and mother last year to supplement what I put on the memorials, she has not done anything.

steroid shot
I thought I told you when we first met that I had thoraic back surgery for a tumor.I had nueropathy caused by the surgery. At 58, I was basically retired due to the surgery. In my work, nobody gets hired without a physical. My gp doctor would not give me a return to work and has detoriated since then. The insurance balked at cost of the shot, but worked for about six weeks.
One of my high school friends is facing major arterial surgery in his legs next month. He's scared to death whether he makes it.No family left except a cousin in TX.
Life is headed down the tubes for quite a few in that 65 age. The Stefaniak relation is almost gone. They are connected to Brzezinskis, I knew Stan when he headed Munson Laundry still at the hospital. Now it's done offsite ,down by the Record Eagle newspaper printing south of town.
Stan had TB in the 1940's and recovered, married a Winowiecki cousin and died in 1992.

I hate to open the newspaper and see obits.
Janet Schopieray Aylsworth, knew her brother from Meijers and met her in school.she died less than a month after her husband, still do not know if she will be put with him or with parents in TC.
A bunch of old friends and schoolmates facing real bad health issues.
A gal I've known since ten years old has breast cancer, lost her dad ,brother and brother in law to cancer within 16 months time. It's like everybody is getting a double whammi.

RE: Hi Dana
Don't have to ... just so long what's there is correct. I've started into some of Lucia's info trying to get what's right that Grandma Mikowski had.
Did not see her mother or sisters at my cousin's Steve Fleis's funeral, may have been too much for her to get her daughter or son to come and get her.
She needs a walker now,may have been too much.
Betty Fleis does use one too.
I tried a steroid shot, does help a while but can not justify the cost since my insurance did not want to pay on it.($2300).But not moving like 10 years ago.
