I am a professional genealogist in Salt Lake City, Utah. I previously lived in Atlanta, Georgia. Most of my research work is for clients, but I have contributed photographs of graves in the Tucker/Northlake area of DeKalb County, Georgia, historically known as Browning's District or Georgia Militia District 572.

I am happy to transfer memorials to direct descendants or close collateral descendants (for those who have no direct descendants). Just use the Submit a Correction form under the Edit tab and tell me how you are related.

Reuben Henderson
Paul,
I am the great great granddaughter of Reuben Thomas Henderson. He married my g g grandmother Sarah Patterson in 1859. My great grandmother, Parthenia Elizabeth Henderson was born in 1860.

He was the oldest child of Major A Henderson and Rachel Leavell. You show him as a half sibling, but he was born in 1836, after they were married. He is also listed in the 1850 census as a 13 year old, the oldest child of several by that time.

If you will transfer his entry to me, perhaps I can correct the confusing information.

Several years ago I visited Hollywood Cemetery with my young daughters after my research showed that that was where he was buried.

I had always been intrigued by Sarah Henderson's grave because she had no husband buried beside her and few if any of my family knew the whole story. After several years of research I was able to piece together her story.
That was the beginning of my passion for genealogy!
If you need to contact me, please email me at sherylspivey@gmail.com

Thank you for your work on this memorial.

Flat Rock Cemetery
From this Sunday 2-7-2016 newspaper I see the Flat Rock Archives is located at 3979 Crossvale Road. Is that where the Flat Rock Cemetery with 24 burials is located?
Can that address be put on Find A Grave?
I can do it with your permission. Let me know.

Any info you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

Crouse Family of Caldwell County, Missouri
I have been suggesting edits for Crouse family members, primarily under the "relationship" heading, because I think it is so helpful to have the family members linked together. I am a descendant of Catherine Crouse, wife of Christian Harter; they were early settlers of Caldwell Co., MO. As you know, two or three of Catherine's brothers also lived there. A Google search led me to your very fine article on Florence I. Crouse Nelson.

I was wondering whether you know of any Crouse family members who've taken the Ancestry DNA test. I did and I've been matched to several members of the Harter family, but so far I haven't seen any other Crouse matches.

Phebe Smith
Sorry for the poor lighting conditions when I took the photo of Phebe Smith's headstone. I will try to retake during a time when the light is better!

Margaret Thomas
Hello Paul,

Margaret Thomas is my sons 3rd Great-Grandmothers and I maintain these memorials for him. I would be happy to add any information to the memorial, but would prefer to keep it for now. I am sure you will understand.

Do you have any of the older Thomas photos?

Do you happen to have an ancestry tree, I would love to share info with you. You might want to look at www.normansatterwhite.com website as well for Thomas/Corley/Satterwhite info.

Thanks, Pam Smith (once a Satterwhite)
