Have lived my entire life in West Grove,PA.19390.
The majority of my relatives for the past 200+ years are buried between Kennett Square and Oxford PA. My family tree includes Rhodes,Root,Clark and Ironside names, all from the Southern Chester County area.I would be happy to try and assist anyone in search of connections with these surnames in this part of Chester County

What do you want me to do for her memorial. I have it spelled the way you did. What else did I miss? Donna

RE: Christian B Rhodes:
Hello there Chuck,
Thank you for your kind words. I love hearing how Find a Grave is helping folks link to their ancestors happy endings always preferred. I did a search for Matilda and Lewis. I came up with nothing for Matilda, but the Indiana Weekly Messenger for May 15, 1889, has "Lewis Rhodes, a highly esteemed citizen of Rayne tp., died April 6, 1889, at the advanced age of 74 years. Mr. Rhodes was an honest, upright man and enjoyed the respect and esteem of all his neighbors. He was a man of few words, but his word was as good as his bond. He was a good man and has gone to his just reward."

So perhaps this is your Lewis Rhodes, but it doesn't hint at the burial location. Thought I'd share anyway.

Changes made on Christian's page thank you again for writing.

Hi again Chuck:
No problem, I went to your page and got your member number. I will transfer them to you and you will get an email from find-a-grave notifying you of the transfer. At the moment of transfer the memorial is yours. You will see the links to add info or whatever you choose to do. Again, thank you and have a great day.

RE: Rhodes/ Oxford PA cemetary:
Sir it was my absolute honor to take the photographs. We need to not only honor those that served but also the families that shared them with America. Thank you sir and your family on behalf of we that do care. Would you like to have the memorial transferred to your care? Have a great day & God Bless.
