Joseph Leo Lyons
I made a memorial for Joseph Leo Lyons and added his plot location at Calvary. Yesterday I fulfilled 27 of the 41 photo requests. I hope to finish up the rest very soon. Here's Joseph's memorial # 175179346

RE: Memorial 93124018
Unfortunately, they my friends could only say that it was published in 1934; they didn't have a specific date. I'm sorry that we couldn't be of more help to you, but I wish you the best of luck.

RE: Memorial 93124018

I would be happy to tell you that, but unfortunately all I know is that she died in 1934, as it shows in my photo. I was not the one who uploaded the photo of the obituary; that would be Glenn & Kathy (46987598). I would be happy to talk to them if you wish. I apologize for not being able to help more, but I wish you the best of luck in your genealogical pursuit!

RE: Hemp photo
You're welcome. When I get back to that area in the spring, if you would like, I could take a picture of the family stone for Friedwick.

RE: Scherrer photos
It was a good trip to the cemetery. As I was parking the car and saw a older man walking back to his car. I was my uncle. We had a nice chat.

RE: Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery
Hi Judy,

Your question got me to look into Creszenz and her husband a little more. Her husband was not John W but Joseph W Brown. He is in the plot right next to hers. I have now linked them together. I was able to see them on all the censuses from 1900 to 1940. She was born in Germany and he in Wisconsin. They always lived in Wisconsin. On the 1940 census they were already living at the Veteran's Home but had lived in Milwaukee in 1935. Between 1899 and 1909/1910 they had 5 children, 4 boys and one girl. The girl is the only one I see a birth certificate for. It gives her name as Marie Creszenz Brown, born in November 1901 to parents Joseph William Brown and Creszenz Amie Mullner.

I hope this helps.

RE: Syrian photos
Glad to help. I viewed the Zurian memorials on my PC and they are oriented correctly. I did pull view the memorial on my I phone and the image is upside down. Not sure what I can do to correct the situation. It may be a question for Find A Grave.

Holy Cross site info
When you look up a name on the Catholic Cemetery web site

there is a link you can click on to search for nearby graves. Then you just uncheck the box for the grave number and the rest of the list will show. I was surprised to see a grave 8, usually I see lots of 6. It could be a mistake or just a large lot.
