RE: Koenig family memorial
After 41 years of researching, I know how important correct information is and I'm always striving for that. Memorial #77126163 is Gilbert King of Eau Claire. He only had two King siblings attached to him and one that was a Koenig. No children. I have removed Valentine and Clara as his parents. I've found his parents names in his SS application as Levi and Christina. Someone probably sent me the names of Valentine and Clara in the edits. The rest of the Koenig/King problem for Valentine and Margaretha I can't correct as they aren't my memorials. I'm always willing to update and make corrections. Thanks.

RE: Duplicate memorials
I figured it out. I was looking for Leo as the duplicate. You didn't mention it was his wife Marie that was the duplicate. I have connected the previous Marie Mary with my Leo and deleted my Marie Karlen.
Your message was confusing.

RE: Duplicate memorials
I found my Leo Karlen #132412652 at St. Mary's but I didn't find another Leo there. Where is this #89261018? I can find my entries by their name but I don't know how to find them just by a number.

I also deleted your other message since is was a duplicate with the same no.s.

Sorry, but I am confused. Here is the message you sent me:

Their suggestion:
Take out the wife. It should have been in the father place. Sorry.

When I open the memorial, there is no mention about the wife. Am I missing something here?

Thanks for the correction suggestion. I double checked the children linking and it is correct per all of their marriage records. I'm not sure where it says they are grandchildren on the 1870 census. I can't find that info when I view it.

Volrath Volckmann
Volrath was married twice. Maria Volckmann Barkholt is from his first marriage. The woman he is buried with is his second wife. His first wife died in Germany and is buried there. He is buried with his second wife here and so Maria Barkholt is not her daughter.Volrath is my great-great grandfather.
