The Weekly Vincennes Western Sun (newspaper)

I am researching the Phillips County, Arkansas race war of 1919 and hope that you can help me get information about the Charles Robert Maxey, an agent of the US Department of Justice stationed in Little Rock, who was one of the investigators of the incident.

|Marilyn Hayes||William Lewis Maxey s/o John Maxey and Pearl Crow|
Hello, I would very much like to chat with you regarding the Maxey line. I have found information that Pearl Crow
and John Maxey had the following children: William Lewis Maxey, b. 9 Nov 1905 in Matoon, Illinois and Catherine E., b. 1907. There is also a daughter Hazel Maxey that I am looking at that may be their daughter. Can you contact me at: email@example.com
Thank you so much.
Marilyn Crow Hayes
|yvonne stewart||thank you|
thank you for posting the Maxey information, especially the map. Yvonne
|Donna Cullins Schroeder||O Waters|
I assume that you posted the intro to this cemetery. The name "O Waters" is somewhat misleading. Our local records list it as Old Waters. In various obits and other places, it is also listed as McIlwain or Ireland Universalist. It might help if you could clarify this for researchers. Thanks!

My great great grandmother, Mary Adeline Maxey Cooper is the oldest sister to Joseph and Henry William Maxey. Do you have info on her? I would like to contact you by email or phone.

FYI - I posted a picture of his tombstone today. I also shot all the other Maxey tombstones in that family plot and posted them to Find A Grave.
|Ida Durden||Family Connection|
Hi, I have been researching Maxey family and it sure is confusing. There is so many men with the same first name and dob so near. I have found that I am connected via my dad's side of family and now my husband's side is connected. I cannot get the i's and t's connected yet. Is there an actual valid book on Maxey genealogy or is everyone's information a could be or should be. I appreciate any help you will render.
Have a blessed day
