Gunther Guenther # 174148891
Hello,

I am working off the Forest Lawn database which only lists Elizabeth Guenther who passed away in 1940 with that surname spelling.

I would have had no way of knowing about the other memorial as I went off my photos for the spelling of the last name as Gunther based on the Gunther family plot marker which matches what is listed in the Forest Lawn files.

I will try to contact Audrey to update and combine the two memorials so that my photos are not lost. In addition there are family connections and a hyperlink that will have to be considered.

At the time that Find A Grave member Audrey (#46877347) was creating the memorial for Louisa Hahn Gunther the Forest Lawn Omaha database would have still been publicly available and would have listed her name spelled correctly.

I will probably just go ahead and ask Find A Grave to do a memorial combination for this case.

Thank you for notifying me of the problem.

Thanks for the Hahn links!
Can't believe I even wrote that Census record and failed to make the connections!

ictures and info for Howard Richard Favors
Hi - a friend of mine just pointed me to a listing you posted in 2011 for Howard Richard Favors, along with others in the Favors family from Plattsmouth, NE. I am Dick's granddaughter and have started researching his naval service, trying to piece together his years in the military throughout WWII. I would very much like to know if we are related or if this was a requested photo search from someone that you were kind enough to do. In particular, I am curious how you got the picture of my grandpa at work. I also know the listing for the Favors family is not complete, so I will try to update that. Two other siblings have passed away, one being his sister June, who was very interested in family history. Thanks in advance for anything you would care to share with me! Dawn Antoniak-Mitchell

My husband and I were eating dinner just feet away from this terrible accident. What a tragedy.

ID Military in Westlawn-Hillcrest
We are currently working to identify anyone buried in Westlawn-Hillcrest Cemetery Omaha NE that has served in the military. If you have a loved one buried there or know of someone, please send us a message. We place flags on the graves for Memorial Day. This project is sponsored by Centennial Masonic Lodge.

If you can send us the names, we will be sure to include them on our list to get a flag.

Thank you for the help with this ongoing project.

RE: Eva Christina Lutz Weber
Hi Karen. I checked with the family member and she told me that with the ones seated (left to right), it is Eva, Jacob and Anna Maria. I labeled the photo with this information, too. I hope this is helpful!
